Sophie! You need the chanel with the heart (04:09) you love hearts and that's sooo you! Of all the hermes yes the constance is the nicest! And you need a pair of nice Dior slides/mules to match your bags! Lovely day out with you!

I’d recommend going into a consignment shop perhaps and trying on both sizes. I have a Constance 18 in ostrich and even as a guy that size looks best on me. I find the 24 really boxy and huge. The C18 comfortably hold my iPhone, LV 6 ring key holder and LV pocket organizer with room to spare. You may be carrying a lot more but from an aesthetic and comfortable perspective I’d really recommend you find a way to try both on before amending your wish list. Best of luck Sophie 😘

I would say try your luck if your travelling to Paris or any where in Europe when it comes to buying a Hermes bag/items. Plus you can claim the VAT back... It's basically a win win situation. As for the Off-White canvas tote it's amazing. I purchased mine a few years ago in the Selfridges sale for a bargain price. It's good for the gym and for travelling. It's a must have if you can get your hands on one x

I loved to coat story! I bought my first wool coat back in 2000 when I went away to Canada for Uni (I grew up in Brisbane, Australia which is normally quite warm). I still have the coat 23 yrs later, and it's still in great condition. I love the memories I've made while wearing that coat ❤

I was just on my honeymoon trip to Italy and I actually went to a Dior boutique for the first time in me life and tried the bags, including the D-Lite. I felt myself bursting of happiness while trying it on and the SA said that the bag really suits me... I didn't get the bag because it was 4100 euros but I feel like my husband would have bought me that if I would have said that I absolutely need to have it. I came back the next day and bought sunglasses and a mitzah scarf in floral print. I had a wonderful romantic holiday in Sicily and the Dior visit was huge to me. You have told earlier that first time buyers are treated wonderfully at Dior, and it was true. I said early on that I think these are out of my price range but the SA still encouraged me to try things! I feel like the sunglasses are a really good first item to buy, because you can absolutely wear them all the time, while the bags might be too much to wear on everyday life, maybe?

The UK is a wishlist country for Hermes. Usually all you have to do is wait for your desired colour to come up and they’ll call you if you’re next. I have heard spending can speed up this process but isn’t necessary. Usually if your wish isn’t granted within a year, you will have to go in an re-do your wishlist as I have heard they expire after 1 year if not granted. Good luck!

Great running into you in Harrods on Friday, Sophie, with David. Yes, you will have to wait, and it could take 12 to 18 months. Hermès makes bags to order, and in order of the queue, but sadly, the demand is high. Don't forget to visit any of the Hermès shops in 6 months to refresh the Wish, and you can change your order (colour etc.) then, as well. Good luck 🍀 Dorne ❤

Hi Sophie - I went into Hermes for the first time a few months ago and also had the most amazing service putting together a wish list. I was told that the Constance bag was no longer on the wish list but it would take a while to get one as they would have to fulfil all those that had previously made a wish for this bag. He did say pop in ask though! Good luck! I think the resale value will go down but I think they will still hold their original value as they won’t be making any more in quantity so supply probably still higher the demand. X

Glad that you finally make a wishlist. It seems to be a more fair system in the UK, people did get offered wishlist bag with purchase history. So good luck with your wish. I think even if Constance comes off as wishlist bag, resell would still much higher because all of Hermes bags (wishlist or not) are very hard to get, they always sold out, like Lindy, Picotin, etc.

Thanks Sophie. The only piece of designer clothing I own is a Burberry trench coat which is now almost forty years old! I also have two Jasper Conran Forest Hill Shoppers, one chocolate, one cream, which are really Neverfull dupes but much less floppy and cost £70.They even have the pochette which I sometimes use as a clutch.

The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago I was buying a belt. That was all I have bought sandals a couple of years ago that’s it. I love Chanel and shop there a lot the only bag I love from Hermes is the Constance. The sales associate was delightful and asked me about a wish list went thru why I liked the Constance what colour etc. Like you I am super excited but I feel I need to pop in every now and then and buy something I really want it but did not think it possible. I have a Constance 24 and love the size...it's still a smaller bag without sacrificing practicality. I feel the 18 is just too small. If you really want the 24, I would suggest calling your SA to update your wishlist. Also,the act of checking in a second time with your SA will not only keep you top of mind, but will let her know you are serious about wanting the bag. I got my first Birkin with no purchase history. I‘m not a big spender at Hermès but I just clicked with my SA. I own 3 Birkins and one Kelly at this point. I think it helps if you stop by her again and purchase omething small but I don‘t think it‘s a need, it speeds up the process in my opinion. Good Luck ❤
