Juice WRLD is a late artist whose emotionally vulnerable style took him from SoundCloud to stardom at record speeds. Not only was his rise to stardom rapid, but so was his career as a whole. Juice’s struggles with addiction and mental health ultimately claimed his life at the young age of 21, ending his career just a few years after it began. He recorded thousands of songs in the short period of time he made music, allowing his label to posthumously release unheard music in his memory. One thing I've learned from Juice is that he wouldn't want us to dwell on him or his death, anytime I hear his music I always think about the life he lived and the impact he made on me and millions of other people on a very deep personal level. It's the stage of high after the initial euphoric rush, usually 30-40 mins after snorting you start nodding hard and have short, very colorful and vivid dreams, almost like reality but like you wanted. The most addictive stage for me, I'd just coast in my own world for hours on end, and as soon as it ends you saw me crushing up another line. If you manage to stay awake this seems to be the part where your mind goes into a creative mode and you start thinking about everything in a positive way. It's weird how it works.

I listened to some of his music back in middle school and didn't like it. I really got into his music about two weeks before his death. His music really helped me through dark times. I was suffering from mental health problems and battling an addiction to painkillers. Juice WRLD's music felt like a light at the end of the tunnel while I struggled to get clean. It showed the beauty thay could come from the darkness. After a failed suicide attempt, a months long detox and relapse cycle I'm now 18 months sober and I still listen to Juices music every day. As corny as it sounds, that man saved my life and he'll never even know it. May he rest in peace.
