I mean, what the heck, Japan has low birth rate, a bagillion% of people of age above the 3000-4000 years, and generally a percentage distribution oriented toward having more people on the older side... and anime still runs this damn thing of "meh if you're above 25 you're ooold" heck in theory people should be considered young till the 45 years old at least xD (totally not saying it ALSO cause I'm too hurt on spiritual level, eh, nope nope XD)

The reason why it reminds you guys of Naruto is because the character designer is Tetsuya Nishio, the same guy who worked on Naruto Episodes/movies.

I was curious why the character designs felt so familiar. The characters definitely have the Naruto look. Especially that blonde haired girl at the end of this episode.

I dunno... in general they really don't remind me of Naruto's character design, but yeah there are some specific cuts/moments where the design becomes more like this one... I think I saw something that actually reminds way more closely this character design, but tbh now I can't recall what it is... I was gonna say sky crawlers (also from production IG) but noh, maybe only some of the eyes... there is something else out there that looks quite like this...

As a manga reader im so happy that they took this serious. The music, coloring, the tention, the comedy, how they portrayed the destruction and gore and how scary they made it for the little girl and her mom. Im so ecstatic 😂😂😂 loving it so far

To be honest the plot look quite similar to Ultraman plot whereby Ultraman is an alien possessing into human and granting them power to fight Kaiju. The MC need to keep his Ultraman power as a secret and join the special force to fight kaiju. Then he secretly use his power to fight Kaiju as Ultraman.

As i just caught up to the anime i must say. On simple terms...this show is chained solider without the ecchi. Which is weird because i found chained solider to sorta be simialr to high rise invasion. But all 3 have a similar vibe moreso Kaiju and Chained Solider. Im enjoying the series but i will say so far story wise i have Chained solider higher

The way things happen are anticlimactic, the female protagonist is boring, they find out too soon that kafka is a kaiju, everything seems very rushed, and humanoid kaijus start appearing when it wasn't even common before, which makes the concept quite beaten. I liked the first two episodes of the anime, which is strange, since I didn't really like the manga
