Say what you will about the Jackie Chan Jaden Smith remake, but I for one appreciate that for the remake they got someone just as legendary as Pat Morita to be the “Miyagi” figure of the film. The fact that it’s JACKIE CHAN, who also happens to be a martial artist is an added bonus.

I hate creese and ponytail guy as well (can't remember his name right now😂) in all these films and in all of cobra kai too.the actors play them so well that you hate them with every fibre of your being.they are intresting characters,all of them.daniel larouso teaching karate would definitely make mr miyagi so damn proud ❤ I'm not too crazy on the karate kid with jaden and Jackie but it's a decent watch and a good tribute to the og film

I grew up watching the karate kids movie, and all i could ask if they could get a real karate person in the movie.. not some uncomfortable young kid and a ( sensi) who didn't know how to fight. They were a good story/ karate film somehow. The karate kid with jackie chan and jaden smith was 100 times better than any of the originals.
