If you haven't you should look at maybe adjusting the shift lever to match your foot size and angle of ankle movement to get percise gear changes and checking your clutch freeplay is between 2-3mm. Might help eliminate hitting neutral going from 1st to 2nd gear. 1st to 2nd is the longest feeling throw of the shift lever and the release of your clutch timing is off because of this. You are using your timing from gears 2-6th with 1st to 2nd. Best way is not to rush 1st to 2nd take your time clutch fully in and full movement on the shift lever.
