As someone who has been struggling with self esteem for 18-20 years, and have had a really impactful discussion with my aunt and mom over the last 2 days, this couldn't have come at a better time. My low self esteem as a result of my upbringing has led to self sabotaging with women, poor maintenance of friendships, dead social life and negative perceptions at school and work since i was 16. I've been self aware of this since i was 19-20, but its been hard to come to terms with how its led me to not fully commit to things i could easily have or achieve if i had just believed and loved myself more or acknowledged my strengths more. I will be coming back to this video as i seek to commit to working on myself and allowing others and myself to experience the best of me and more this year and onwards. Amen! When I feel bad I realize my business, friendships and relationships suffer kuz I aint taking care of myself and it reflects on how I treat others. My jiu jitsu coach told me recently “if you dont even take time to treat yourself with love, then how can you expect other people to know how they should treat you?” As simple as that sounds, it snapped me out of my depression and I have been living so much better these last 2 weeks.

I’ve been getting more attention recently but honestly I’ve been lowkey lately because honestly I noticed I still have self-esteem issues. I took a week off of work to break really bad habits and to keep consistent with a fitness regimen so I can feel back on track. Other than that I’ve been practicing talking to one or two unfamiliar faces outside of work.
