I am a Chinese young man who lives in China right now when I was hearing "How to lose our hatred and find your favor How to break these cycles and change our nature" I cried, I just hope the people on earth can hand in hand with each, help each other and understand each other to conquer what is now in front of us rather than something else... Thank you The Killers!

@@ramio1983 this song is 3 years old, and this one has updated lyrics that more specifically focus on BLM and current events; the original 2017 version is excellent as well, but the second half also tackles things like immigration, the prison system, and guns.

Very religious people often tend to be conservative, and I'm hopeful hearing this message from a peer might help a few of them gain a new perspective. Happy to repost this from a comment section from yesterday: This reminds me of 2001 and the connection this country had immediately to U2’s ‘All That You Can’t Leave Behind’, as well as the special live act that followed 9/11. I believe Brandon and the boys nailed this one with extreme empathy and appropriate timing. I cannot wait to feel that emotion with them once the tour hits for ‘Imploding the Mirage’. On that note, I truly hope this version makes it to final cut of the new album - it would be very special.

Brandon oh Brandon, you are a lyric GOD‼️ Love you, love every utterance that comes from you and THE KILLERS. I’ve seen you 3x and pray to see you 100x more. To me there is: THE KILLERS... then all other bands. Zero comparisons. You’re oh so good💫

Having protested black rights with my parents as a child in the summer of '67 I never would have expected that 53 years later, so little has changed. Our country's biggest opportunity for change is now. We must VOTE like our lives & democracy depends upon each of our votes. Because it truly does! We must rid ourselves of the hatred, racism, bigotry, misogyny, xenophobia & injustices of this corrupt, traitorous, treasonous administration. Trump & his evil GOP have proven they have no concern for human lives.
