They’d have to mime their instruments. Super Bowl policy. It would take too long to set-up and sound check the equipment, so they play to a pre-recorded track, with only the vocals live. RHCP did it, it wasn’t good

The Killers were my absolute jam when I was a kid! I remember blasting this song and Mr. Brightside on my MP3 player 🤣 Their music just had this energy that got me hooked from the start. It's crazy how their songs can still transport me back to those carefree days of my youth. I wish there were more bands like them around now, the only band now that give me that feeling is The Doublejumps. It's a band from my home country (New Zealand). Highly recommend.

One of my regrets in life is that I’ll probably never get to hear this song live because they don’t play anywhere close to me, and it’s 2024 and I can barely afford to survive so I damn sure can’t afford a 1000 mile trip.

You sit there in your heartache Waiting on some beautiful boy to To save you from your old ways You play forgiveness Watch it now, here he comes He doesn't look a thing like Jesus But he talks like a gentlemen Like you imagined when you were young Can we climb this mountain? I don't know Higher now than ever before I know we can make it if we take it slow Let's take it easy Easy now, watch it go We're burning down the highway skyline On the back of a hurricane that started turning When you were young When you were young And sometimes you close your eyes And see the place where you used to live When you were young They say the devil's water, it ain't so sweet You don't have to drink right now But you can dip your feet Every once in a little while You sit there in your heartache Waiting on some beautiful boy to To save you from your old ways You play forgiveness Watch it now, here he comes He doesn't look a thing like Jesus But he talks like a gentlemen Like you imagined when you were young (Talks like a gentlemen, like you imagined) When you were young I said he doesn't look a thing like Jesus He doesn't look a thing like Jesus But more than you'll ever know
