@pooriamahmoodi194911 ай бұрын
Right? This ending completely morphs into a redemption story for V... Has a lot more meaning and depth in my opinion. Song did many wrong yes, she still deserved a second chance but that aside, my V just had to save her, she sympathized with her more that anybody else, even Johnny who's literally in her head. V may not be able to save herself, but she can save Songbird.

My only regret about Phantom Liberty was not being able to get Myers. I mean sure, she's the president but in Cyberpunk World being President of NUSA don't matter much. Corpos run the world. If Hansen could try to kill Myers without worrying about repercussions then me being V, the one who kills Adam Smasher, should absolutely be able to take down Myers. Just hope I get the chance in the Cyberpunk sequels

But from what I was able to read both literally (from shards) and between the lines I still sided with her mostly because seeking freedom should never be wrong and we shouldnt be eternally held by the sins or mistakes of our past. I also find it hilarious how johnny was way more self aware then reed was with himself. Introspective johnny is my favorite.

Same. I figured out fairly early on that there probably wasn't a cure for V - the moment she said she had to go to the clinic alone. I chose to stand by her anyway, because helping her escape the people using her as a living weapon is simply the right thing to do - we could argue about whether the methods used to escape are right, but the end goal was a good one. When she confessed that she'd lied, I just smiled and said "I know, don't worry about it," and sent her on her way.

While it’s twisted, I think this is the best outcome for Reed. He’s too blinded with his own guilt and loyalty to the NUS, that he can’t stop from his own self destructive path. At least this way, he can’t be used anymore.

I went through a lot of saves to see if I could save Reed, but after sleeping on this ending and playing through the other endings...I think this is the best one. I chose Reed over Songbird. I loved Song to begin with but as the story went on, I realised how dangerous and reckless she really can be. When she brought down Myers' plane she likely killed hundreds of innocent people. She backstabs everyone and I mean *everyone* in the game. Her provocation between Myers and Hansen could have sparked another war. She frequently abuses her gateway into the Blackwall and now the super-AIs on the other side are trying to force their way through the hole she made. If that happens that would be quite literally an apocalypse scenario. The cherry on top being that she was clearly going to let V die without ever telling them that the cure was single use only, and let V wait and hope for a cure that was never going to come until the Relic finally killed them. She only told V out of guilt after she'd witnessed V be willing to lay their life down for her which she would never be willing to do for anyone else. As soon as she told me that she had lied, again, I gave up on her and handed her over to Reed. She may not be cured but at least she'll live. Reed becomes disillusioned with the FIA and has his own shot at real freedom, and Alex gets to retire to somewhere nice and quiet.
@zaer-ezart7 ай бұрын
Hansen shot the plane out of the sky. So mi only intended to make it land. But other than that I mean can you really blame her? She's dying and running out of options and time, desperate and ready to do anything to live. Doesn't that remind you of someone? So mi is a mirror to V, they are the only persons who can truly understand each other. We're rooting for V but what if it was the other way around? Would you blame so mi for wanting to live when it's exactly what V wants as well? How many people has V killed and brutally slaughtered on his quest to find a cure? Now the choice is up to you of course but from my point of view I understand So mi and her motivations

Knowing all the endings and the backstory now. I side with Songbird everytime. Even if you can't get cured. She does and she lives on in hiding. And of course my V choosing the Don't Fear The Reaper ending will find a way to survive. Songbird had nobody. Not one person to help her. You had Johnny the whole time. That's why It makes more moral sense to help her. She is essentially YOU. Trying to survive by any means possible. Giving her to Reed is practically sending her into slavery. A long quiet life is not worth sending one person into slavery. Trust me giving her to Reed or siding with Reed might seem like good options. But they're not. At least in my opinion.

Reeds biggest fault was the NUS. he chose it over his life and friends and loyalty, even if myers betrayed him.
