I love how in depth you go with each entry Also for the “Hey Ho” entry, it could also be referring to the fact that the laughing in the song by Gordon Haskell was due to hun thinking the band sounded awful playing the song, and they decided to keep it in the final mix, similar to Greg Lake’s laugh and Fripp’s scream in Cat Food lol

A fun side note with "Facts of Life Intro" - The instrumentals used in the second part after the dark ambient sounds is taken from an instrumental outtake (technically "ProjecKt 03") that was titled "Superslow"

In the Court & Red are my two Favorite Albums of the 70's era and my three favorite Albums in the 80's, starting with "Discipline", are my favorites of this era! IMO these 5 Albums are their Best Work But my All Time favorite of these 5 Albums Is Red!

Hell yeah!!! I've been waiting for this! I've even learned some new stuff from this second serving of KC info! Here's a fun fact from my own collection in return: While the legendary King Crimson could not secure permission to use Mars on ITWOP, not long afterwards the small band of UK musicians stationed in Italy called Morgan (featuring Morgan Fisher, Tim Staffel) surprisingly managed to convince the Holst estate to allow the usage of Jupiter in their 1972 album Nova Solis.

I love Constukction, gotta be my third fav album. While nobody asked, I'd say that my interpretation of the title track is that a guy is going through an existential crisis about "Shit man, like look at how simple everything is. There's gotta be more! We've gotta be specks of lint on alien penises!"

Lizard was the first King Crimson album I ever heard. First time I listened to it, I didn't like it. I listened a second time and started paying attention, and really began to dig it. Keep in mind this was Summer of '88, King Crimson as a band hadn't done anything since 1984. I was really into Jethro Tull at the time, and really liked the flutes and saxes. I made friends listen to it. I'm sure I perplexed a few people. 4 months later I bought "In The Court Of The Crimson King", THAT made me a fan. I never heard the Adrian Belew music until I bought my copy of "The Essential King Crimson: Frame By Frame". I was really into the John Wetton era of the group, so when I heard the 80s lineup, I didn't like it. Fast Forward to 1995 I bought "Thrak" Then the VHS "Live In Japan" This moved me to buy "Three Of A Perfect Pair" and "The Noise" Live At Frejus France. After seeing them play this music, I developed a newfound respect for it. NOW I like it all!
