Watching this in 2025, it's uncanny (reference) how correct you were. The amount of huge memes that either originated on OKBR or were clearly inspired by its humor (at least in part) since this video came out is staggering. Even just last year, memes such as freaky, in the stripped club, knee surgery, hello vro, and Lebron James reportedly __ share clear inspiration, not to mention the many others that have been influenced by the subreddit secondhand (and that's 5.5 years after you posted this video!).

Honestly, I’m disappointed that you didn’t include the Angry Video Game Nerd. He was one of the major cornerstones of KZbin and was basically responsible for popularizing video game reviews on the website. It sucks how hard he fell off, especially when he started making pretentious games of his own that serve no purpose other than to jack himself off and disregard his “haters.” AVGN Adventures 3 was the worst offender. It was meant to criticize Half-Life for being an “overambitious piece of shit” while simultaneously being an overambitious piece of shit. That being said, I hold his classic content close to my heart, and still find myself injecting “Singing Pile of Shit Moment” and “A Pac-Credit Card!?” into my vocabulary to this day

Thanks for including my Fishpool fact in the bonus layer. I do actually want to add on to it a little bit to how we found out about him being originally scrapped/delayed. Back in Chapter 2 Season 6 a leak came out for a bunch of scrapped/in the works items for Fortnite collabs. This included Ant-Man’s emote, Venom’s glider and contrail, Marshmello’s wrap, and Fishpool and Peelypool “These are all I remember from it” the following two seasons we saw some of items from this leak come to the game with Ant-Man getting his emote added and Venom getting a glider and contrail as well seemingly confirming this leak to be true. Marshemello’s wrap was found in the files but it ended up scrapped with him receiving an entirely new one in Chapter 5 Season 4. But this does indeed show that Fishpool has been in the works for quite some time until he finally came out. Now we just wait on Peelypool and if he’ll release now. Anyway good video I’ve been watching these icebergs since the very start so it’s nice to see it come to a close finally. Great work
