Another great episode that concludes the retelling of the events taking place in the Fatal Fury game (first KOF)! I was impressed by Angelina, her character was well done and it truly connected with Terry`s. The scene of her death was intense and moving, I really felt sorry for her. As for the second part of the fight I enjoyed seeing Geese take on both Andy and Jo, it really showed Geese`s superiority. The finishing move was handled very well, with Terry simulating a hit that made Geese react, than the Raging Storm and the Senpuuken canceled each other. Geese was defenseless against Terry`s Burning Knuckle... Fatal Fury game ending. Wonderful!

I love this series. Everything about it is shameless fan service and its proud of it. Thats why i love it. Its a tribute to not just King Of Fighters and Fatal Fury but to those kids like myself who grew up in arcades, bowling alleys and laundromats emptying our quarters into those red SNK Arcade MVS machines. And Rugal. Shit just got real.

Terry was largely sidelined in KOF, so I'm glad that he's finally given his due as the original SNK protagonist (and Geese as the original SNK Syndrome boss). Considering how skeptical I was at the start, I'm really happy with how well the series had turned out. With it being a soft reboot that integrates Fatal Fury with KOF'94, it kinda shows how well the original games' concept hold up today. I'm hoping after the original 24 episodes end, they continue with the KOF'95-97 Orochi Saga arc. As for now, I can't wait for Rugal to come in and kick butt. I still remember how in '94 his Genocide Cutter would turn your health from full to red if all 3 hits connected, and you'd get dizzied to boot! '95 Omegal Rugal was a pussycat compared to his original '94 incarnation.

I agree! I too hope to see all the Orochi saga! It would be excellent if the next season will have Terry fight Krauser while the KOF 95 takes place. 3rd season Bosses team + Goenitz and than the final Orochi season. It would be a dream came true! As for the next episode I don t like the fact that they use the Orochi power to control most of the fighters, I get Chang and Choi, but Benimaru and Goro is too much, I hope it will be a brief subplot.

@Cartoonguy133: yeah, I would've loved to see Art of Fighting better integrated into KOF as well, as they've largely been joke characters in KOF. But I guess having to leave out Takuma kinda killed their chances at expanding the AOF story. Here's hoping future seasons will have him. @Ionutz Fulger: I'd love to see Terry fight Krauser as well, since he did get voiced in the Geese prologue. Some parts of the series' felt off, like Angelina being Geese's adopted daughter, but somehow her not knowing who Rock is. Other than that, I'm a happy camper. We finally get a proper KOF series after more than 20 years (to be fair, I really liked Another Day), and for free. I really can't complain.

@Cartoonguy133: I did not lose hope for the AOF team. In this season we still have a chance of seeing Robert fight for the first time (he truly deserves it) and Ryo fight again. The fact that they left Takuma out was clearly a mistake and they should make up for it in the next season. Since Eiji was an enemy of the Sakazakis it will be easy to create a subplot and why not, have same Takuma flashbacks from the AOF era :) tcchip: We can presume that Geese did not share most of his personal life with Angelina. Rock was born after Geese left his mother and it is safe to say that this information was kept a secret. As you say, we finally have a proper KOF seriers, the 92 Fatal Fury anime got its revenge, which is excellent. The KOF Another Day episodes had a great animation style, but that kind of classic animation is very expensive these days. There is a little bit to much Orochi controlling the fighters for my taste but I won t complain. If they keep up the good work I am a happy man!

So, Fatal Fury is over now and here it comes the '94 part of the story... kinda liked the homage of the Fatal Fury the Motion Picture's references... but Terry didn't finish his Sempu Ken and ended up in a simple Burn Knuckle to send flying Geese... that was a bit anti-climatic, if you ask me.
