As great a Queen Tomyris was an even Greater Queen Amage of the Sarmatians not only Defeated and conquered the Scythians and brought Scythia into Sarmatia, she went down into Persian to finally put an end to all their probing to the Steppes. She force the ending of Slavery not only on the Steppes but all her allies had to free their Slaves. Also while the men were with the Scythians who were with the Roman's conquering Carthage, her Amazon women warriors with her #1 ally the Slavs actually finished off the Scythians before the men returned. She set up the 1st pony express put posts every 50 kilometers because of the probing Persians. Not only did she capture Scythia and all it's livestock and herds but all the live stock of Carthage that the mighty cavalry took from Carthage behind the Roman's back. When the men returned to show them they lost faces before the women who had to conquer Scythia without them. She 1st gave have off all the new livestock but not the herds to the Slavs for coming to ally with her. Then the other half she divided evenly amongst all the Sarmatian women. If a man wanted any part of the live stock plus the herds he had to marry a Sarmatian warrior woman under her rule. Do you know the Roman's refused to trade for Sarmatian livestock because they blames Amage for taking all of Carthages livestock behind their back, which she didn't get until she took it from the scythians. But it was Queen Tomyris who did begin to form and train the mighty Amazon women warriors shock troops. Centuries later during the reign of Amage the known world fear her Amazons after taking the entire Steppes while congering the Scythians. I also loved the fact that she hid in the scythians court after putting a young child on that throne. She listen and learned about all the trade and diplomacy of the Scythians the most powerful cavalry on the Steppes that Amage just defeated. She feared the neighboring tribes especially the Greeks if they found out only women are in control of the Steppes until the men had returned from Persia. The day that the men had finally returned they they put Amage on the Scythians throne and declared Amage the Queen of Sarmatia as Queen of the entire Steppes, in front not only the Sarmatian Allies but in front of the Scythian Allies especially the Greeks. The only bad thing that happened during her reign was when the Roman's came to conquering Greece to steal its riches to rebuild the Roman empire after the Carthage campaign the Scythians were no longer there to defend Greece and Queen Amage left Scythia and taking everyone and livestock saying the scythians so ruined their land no one was fit to live there, that even Queen Amage couldnt arrive on time to ally the Greeks, they were west of the Caspian Sea when word came of the Roman's conquering Greece and the Ponic the old southern portion of Scythia, not fit for Sarmatians.
