That was a 9 minute pass which is not too far off of the all time record by Jared Barns back in 2010 of 8:23. I used to ride with JR(Antprilia) years ago. I am local here to the. "Hill" as we locals call it or the "Gap". I lost 4 friends up there in a span of about 5 years. My best time up there on an R6 was 9:00 flat. I stopped riding up there in 2018 and went back to dirt bike racing, now 51 racing veterans class. I talked to JR recently and might be getting an R7 just to come up and play some. Might see you up there! Great riding!

@bigeracing2061 I've seen a lot of conflicting reports about Jared's fastest time , I know his fastest run with footage I've been able to find was a 8:57 , but then I've seen claimed his fastest time as 8:43 , 8:37, and 8:23. Is there any footage available of a faster run of his or his record?

it's amazing to me how much more (...bitchy?) the XR tcs is compared to the R/RR. I had my s1000r down there in October on Rosso IIIs, and even when trying intentionally to get the rear to move around I couldn't get that light to flash hardly at all compared to yours

The light flashes, but the bike still puts down the power which is the important part. It works amazing considering it's one of the earliest IMU systems from 2015.

@@CubanRider yeah must just be a different tolerance to actually trip the light. Maybe because of the "touring" target audience. Mine was a 14 so that might be some of the same. Good riding as always

What is so special about this road?II'm from Europe,Germany,Austria,Luxemburg is full with 1000's of these roads.Nothing special about their driving also,justt a bit stupid, one day this will end up bad.Been there, done that....One day they will understand, stay safe as long as possible guys

No intersecting roads or driveways, a never ending rollercoaster of curves. What makes it special however is the community, all the awesome riders and drivers you meet up there. There's many other amazing roads in this area as well, most with better pavement, but the dragon experience is unmatched.
