Thanks for the sneak peak into the Kungsleden, Brian! 👍 Looks stunning! I can't wait to be there.

No worries. I'm a bit jealous that you will be doing the whole 440 km! All the best Chevi.

Bartek Pietka Sounds great Bartek. You’re going to love it. You will not be disappointed! I’m pretty sure that I’ll be up in the area again this year too. I’ll be not hiking Kungsleden but doing my own route away off the beaten track. Hope you have a great hike!

I walked the trail i juli, it was warm for 3 weeks. Did not have any rain at all. Only wet feet crossing a stream. I walk on Brooks Cascadia trailrunners , which dry out very fast!

I just re-watched some of your video on Kungsleden 2018 with the Duplex. You certainly had some nice weather.

Ralph Meier Thanks for commenting Ralph. Same with me, I didn’t see any other ZPacks shelter either. I’ll be up in the area again this year but not on Kungsleden.

If you want to see more Z-packs, watch my video.Did the Kungsleden south to north, Hemavan- Abisko in Juli 2018. In 2017 did the Cape wrath trail, more z-packs there,

@@walterbulkens5096 thanks, I'll check it out. Sounds great with the Cape Wrath too. It's on my bucket list so maybe one day.

thanks for sharing, love Z-packs.

Thanks Walter, I'll watch your video. It's a shame that it's so expensive to get Z-packs gear imported into the EU with the customs fees & import tax or maybe a good thing because then I would have no money left.
@walterbulkens50965 жыл бұрын
@@BrianOutdoors Z-Packs did send my gair as a repair set and put it as 50 dollar for custums, so I only had to pay very little taxes.

Thanaphan Duangmong The footwear I used: - Altra Lone Peak 3.5 trail shoes 632g - Injinji Trail Midweight Mini Crew Toe socks 55g I love these two guys! I hiked from Abisko to Nikkaluokta in my Altra Lone Peak 3.5 trail shoes and my Injinji toe socks. I walked straight through all the water crossings that came my way. Water came in my shoes and water came out. My shoes & socks dried while I was walking. On trail both my socks and shoes were dry every morning. My feet were ready for another 114 km when I was done. I had no feet issues whatsoever. No blisters, no sores … nothing. I carried a total pack weight between of 10 - 11 kg with water, fuel and food for 5 days. This combination works for me and I have been wearing these shoes and socks on all my hikes since the beginning of 2018. Please see my packing list here: brianoutdoors.blog/2018/08/05/the-kings-trail-kungsleden-artic-sweden-packing-list/ I use a three sock principle of wet, dry and warm. I’ll be hiking in the Injinji toe socks and they’ll most probably get wet. The waterproof DexShell Ultra Thin socks are my dry socks and I can use them alone or over my warm socks. The Darn Tough socks are my warm socks and I will most probably use them for sleeping in or if my feet get cold. They should not get wet at any time.

What's your filming gear, Brian?

Hi Gediminas, I just use my iPhone 6S to take all photos and videos. It wasn't that good when the wind blew but otherwise it turned out okay.

@@BrianOutdoors thanks for the reply! Looks like iPhones are pretty decent for this purpose, most footage from phone cameras comes out wobbly despite the high specs.

Yes, I was quite surprised when I first started using it but most of the footage seems to be usable and as you can see from this video that it is acceptable and worthwhile publishing. Thanks for watching and finding the time to comment.
