The reason it's interesting is it's REAL world building. I for one can't see any evil in his actions. He's even managing to control all the "children" of Nazariek(Nazarick) and curbed their hatred of the "lesser" races. To me, even the people he's killed has been justified, and critical to the creation of a "better" world for all. It's been one of the best anime I've watched(and I've still got the VHS white labels to prove how long I've been a fan), and yes, the CGI is a bit of a letdown, but limited budgets don't go well with EPIC stories, so it's not a problem to me. Can't wait for the dub...EAT ME!! 😉

@@broodo1 yeah, I have the complete Robotech set including the "final" CGI series, gotta have those and the 3 Urotsokidoji Overfiend ones. I have the full Gyver set, the full 'Manga' set of Fist Of The North Star with the wicked Metalheadz soundtracks, full set of Tenchi Muyo, Bublegum Crisis and Bublegum Crash. I also have the White labels(primary copy) of Tokyo Babalon and Roujin Z. So many really, but I just can't let them go until I've converted them with good upscaling and sound enhancement as I only ripped them for my PSP originally, and some of the later versions on sites like 9anime are not with the original dubbing.

Honestly, my favorite parts of this whole volume was when Ainz went to the Adventurer's guild. Firstly, the conversation with Moknak(?) from Rainbow, frickin genius. And then the whole conversation with Ainzach, with was pure skill by Suzuki Satoru himself. Also, the scene he and Ainzach shared where he was like "ugh, human society is so complicated" was also really good. I also thoroughly enjoyed the scenes with Jircniv, those are classic OL shenanigans, but the aforementioned scenes with Ainz where he showed off his actual negotiation skills without th usual misunderstanding-humor was so refreshing?! I didn't know I needed it until I was already reading it. So good!!

The volume itself is super awesome, one my of favorites in the serie. They seem to be rushing it in the anime but nothing new!

I didnt read the LN but I felt this season has been very slow so the LN must be REALLY slow, I dont mind it being slow this season though Im just happy to have another season FINALLY.

Yeah with the anime cutting a lot of my favorite scenes like Ainz Kissing albedo I think I will stick with the novels for now on.
