Have a RX6620 cab w grapple , I am very impressed with this, the most used attachment so far, I put a camera front and rear to see and that works very well. Can really see my back blade as it contacts ground. I need to build a brush guard for the front . Have a 12k electric winch on rear and set up for hydraulic wood splitter. Quick hitch cat2 and hydraulic tilt . Very good machine. Thanks for the videos.

You'll love that for all sorts of projects. I didn't know Kioti even made one and that's a good looking grapple! I've got the EA 55" one it has been super handy for clean up and removing old rail road ties. Only thing I haven't really figured out is the storing of it. I want to make a stand of some type for it, so the hoses don't get in the way.

I got a grapple from everything attachments last summer for my kiock3510 hst. It paid for itself in a month. Mine is a single lid 48 inch. You likely have at this point, but as someone who has been grappling for a bit, the more rear ballast the better. I'm running 800lbs in a ballast box off the back of my CK2610 combined with beet juice filled rear tires. The lift capacity increase and stability it provides is staggering compared to just the rotary cutter or box blade, or heaven forbid, nothing.

😊 Hi Nick, I used forks for picking up brush. They work okay. The grapple / rake is able to pickup debris of different sizes and hold on to it. I drop a lot less with the grapple. The grapple is also able to grab logs, rocks, and trees. You can also rake up small trees and brush at the roots. I got by with just forks for a couple years, but I love the grapple. @@tractorrookie I got ya. I was looking at a few brands. I do like the protection they have in the cylinders and the routing of the hoses. I was also looking at the Dirt Dog brand. The US headquarters for Kioti is not too far from me. I wish they would ship direct. Do you know if they have changed the paint? I also have been trying to find out if they have stops built in to keep the jars from bending the cylinder when back scraping? Thanks buddy.
@tractorrookie
@tractorrookie Жыл бұрын
@@EarlybirdFarmSC I can’t speak to the paint being changed, but I would guess that it has not. I am sorry, I am not sure what you mean regarding the back dragging. I have obviously scooped forward to push piles together to pickup. I do not think I would back drag with this unit. The top Jaws with the hydraulic control, seem vulnerable to damage if you were to drag them extended. I am not sure if that is helpful. I can send close up photos if like via email. mywildkiotiadventures@ @gmail.com Seems like there are a lot of good grapple options. I picked this one for resale (brand matching) and because it appeared to me to be fairly capable without being too big. I wanted to store it indoors and footprint matters! Hope that helps. Michael
@EarlybirdFarmSC
@EarlybirdFarmSC Жыл бұрын
@@tractorrookie Yeah I see or have watched videos from companies talking about using them for back dragging. You tilt the top jaw down to the ground and back up to pile up slash or debris. Similar to a landscape rake. Some companies build in metal stops to keep the jaws from going back too far when doing this. I saw the quick attach company mention it in a video so I didn’t know if others were doing it. This feature protects the hydraulic cylinders from damage when it has the built in stops. Thanks for the information though. I think you pretty much answered the questions. Hope all is well up and over there! -Ronnie
