I believe you are my first You Tube post ever. That is a big compliment. We planned a trip to Italy to start last week, largely because I’ve been lusting for a long time, and more recently because you and hubby, family and friends have seeped your way into our lives. Our son’s MMA fight this week was what pushed us to it now. Unfortunately, a positive COVID test on the day of travel squashed travel plans for us, though the son is roaming Rome and ready for his match! In watching your last two uploads, realized that I might have run into you on the beach or at least swatted a Valentine’s heart hanging in the trellis walkway. Thank you for continuing to find a new angle to share, a story to spin or or a friend to bring along. The morsels you serve us represent much thought and preparation. I love that Carlo tries to speak English. I have been with my husband for 24 yrs. His first language is Spanish and we live in Mexico! I understand everything he says Spanish however to speak in Spanish is very difficult for me. Like Carlo said I am blank. The words don’t come to my mind. Nikki speaks Italian as if it were her first language. That’s amazing!

And perform in musicals( myself)...and my sister and l woukd laugh hysterically at our musical creations...l got so many things done when l waa really busy.....now many moons later...lm older..my beloved sister passed.. Im retired from theatre( as one ages-HARD TO REMEMBER THOSE LINES)..l do art stuff occassionally....but its NOT THE SAME.. Keep doing what you're doing because there is no other channel that I know of that shares their normal everyday family life with the world. You're not about teaching Italian words and conjugations, or featuring hotels to stay at, restaurants to eat at, or places to go. You guys just do you, the daily stuff. What you think is boring to you can be fascinating to us - like doing something simple like going to the market. I, for one, absolutely loved that video of you shopping. Border collie puppies are just the cutest. My 2 girl dogs have had 5 litters over the years and they are just such fun and in such demand for good homes. Can't beat a border collie 😀 I love that fascinating tile factory you are so lucky to be able to choose any of those gorgeous designs for your kitchen. I also have to say how pleased I was to hear Carlo say how fed up he was wearing the masks. Totally agree it's time all countries dropped these mandates and we get on with our lives. I’ve wanted to go to Italy my entire life. For Christmas my daughter gave me the gift of her and I going to Italy for two weeks. She’s even bringing me to Positano. We fly into Rome April 6 we go to Naples where my grandfather was born and also to Positano. We will also go to Vatican City. I am so blessed to have such an amazing daughter. I never thought I would get to see such a beautiful country. I’m so excited I cannot wait. Thank you for all of these beautiful videos. I had to stop watching for a while because they made me a little sad that I wasn’t going to see it. Little did I know my daughters had the tickets since last year when I turned 60. As you know Covid kept us from going. She kept a secret for a whole year. Thank you Nikki for all of the beautiful places you’ve shown me! My birthday is April 9th so we are coming there during Easter. I know it’s going to be insanely busy but I don’t even care. Just to see the wonders of such a beautiful country. Thank you again so much Nikki and Carlo for such wonderful videos! I’ve enjoyed them all so very much. 🇮🇹❤️ I’m looking forward to the recipe book with the lovely pictures I’m sure that will be in it. I will definitely be buying it.
