I love it. It would be perfect for my family and for the location of our current home that needs to be renovated. I would much rather have this Deer Valley. The only problem is I cannot see $165,000. I could build a nice brick home here in north MS for that.

Add a bathroom to bedroom #4 and you have a proper guest room or bedroom for only girl in family. Unfortunately, the kitchen is nothing to write home about...and needs a den in addition to living/great room. This is a 4 bedroom and kids need a place to hang out in. Other than that, its a nice place. Also, add nice shelving throughout master in linen closet. The pricing is definitely not competitive with built homes! If you don't make your payments (remember) they can pick up your home and haul it off!! Just saying...(That is if the land is not included, which you should never do).

I love this house, open concept allows family to be together while Mom cooks, can still watch TV with family or talk to guests. Would rather swap Master Bedroom with Master Bath so Bedroom entry is off hallway instead of kitchen. Don’t want Half Bath so would make that another closet. Would also love to have pocket doors for closets so they don’t get in the way or take up space; then it would be perfect.

Deb Browning That might be, but it doesn’t come with land and then there are fees, taxes, and setup. If you don’t already have septic and water setup on your land, this house will be well over $200K before you are done. I think that might even put you in the hole before you ever move in.

starflower703 Your right on that one. The price of the house and land in addition to everything else adds up. I guess it depends in what state you live as far as property value with house on it. I’m almost there, got my land paid off, my power in, we bought the property with the well but had to rebuild it. Brushed half of 9 acres put in gravel roads. Within March will be ordering through Clayton Homes it’s a Golden West Perris home , Catalina Pacific model.

I am in love with the new rectangular sinks for a master bath. I saw no ceilings in this video?? This is a 165K home and details and beautiful amenities are expected and you do deliver on several. Most of all...WHO chooses the valance and drapery materials? Please tell them to stop it! LoL. This truly is a gorgeous home. Thank you.

@jaykneegarner2479
@jaykneegarner2479 4 жыл бұрын
Deanna Bartlett those plastic tub inserts your complaining about hold up quite nicely and being a one piece unit will not require recalling every year to prevent leaking! The toilets are ceramic as all toilets are! If you don’t like the lid well their ridiculously easy to replace with a nicer seat! As for the wire shelves! If your not using them for a purpose other than what their intended for they will last forever! I have the same shelving over my makeshift kitchen and 3 years on it’s still in tip top shape!
@deannabartlett8982
@deannabartlett8982 4 жыл бұрын
@@jaykneegarner2479 , I'm happy they have worked so well for you. Plastic inserts are not great as mold and mildew grow easily on the surface. Yes toilet lids are easily replaced. Wire shelving does not hold well as I have had mine repaired/ replaced in several rooms because they collapse from just having clothing hanging on them.
@richardfowler3254
@richardfowler3254 4 жыл бұрын
I would not like the fiberglass tubs and shower inserts. If I was to get one those would all gone, over the long haul those don't hold up like tile would. I also would not stand for the wire closet shelves. I have spent more time fixing those (for friends) than they are worth. The homes are "stick built" so why not go with real wood closet systems ? Also my OCD did not like the off-set overhead kitchen cabinets and having what they call the "Master Bedroom" just a few feet from the kitchen would not work. I do realize that these are on a trailer frame but little better planning could have gone into this one...

Create a hallway going into the laundry room. Reduce the size of the laundry room to provide much needed space in the small dining room. Delete the halfback door, install a pocket door to the half bath in the new hallway leading to the laundry room. Having a bathroom door visible from the kitchen and just two feet from the refrigerator tells me this was designed by a man fresh out of school. None of the bathrooms are thought out properly. Great design choices and finishes though, less the ugly kitchen sink. Although the filming was so bad I could barely take any of it in. Clearly a fellow gay or woman was responsible for the finishes. Haha

This IS a manufactured home (mobile home). They can be put on a foundation. My mom bought a triple wide manufactured home which looks very similar in shape to this one. It was delivered in 3 pieces and put on a foundation but it is not a modular home. Although my mom’s looks very nice it is very cheaply made and has not held up well its first ten years. Warped floors. Cracking walls, leaking roof, etc. a modular home is built with the same 2x4s (instead of 2x2s) and built to the exact same specs as a home built on site. They simply pre-build parts and bring it to the home site for final construction. These manufactured homes like the one in this video are just fancy mobile homes. There is a reason they depreciate in value over time instead of appreciating in value like a traditional home and you must find special lenders to finance them and speciality insurance companies to insure them. I know as my mom has been through it all and wishes she would have just had a house built on her property.
