Biggest Mobile Home I have ever been in! 32x90 4 bed 3 bath by Deer Valley Homebuilders Home Tour
Hey Everyone, Chance with Chance's Mobile Home World(new name) here. Hands down this is one of the best mobile home tour videos we have uploaded, be sure to subscribe and like this video please!
This is the biggest double wide mobile home I have ever been in! This is a 32x90 mobile home. The manufacturer for this home is Deer Valley Homebuilders, the model name for this home is the "Orchard." This mobile home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This home has it all. I hope you enjoy this mobile home walk through video.
Contact us anytime for information at cdcollier@regional.ms.
We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”
Be sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell so you will know when we post other videos like this.

This is a beautiful home! We were considering going this route when building didn’t pan out for us. My husband went to Alabama and toured the facility where they were very welcoming and was very helpful answering our questions. I’m here to tell anyone interested in deer valley it’s an extremely sturdy build with amazing up grades. Ultimately the mobile home idea didn’t turn out for us either we had to buy a home. My comment is to say deer valley is a great built home and my husband really enjoyed touring the factory and the company went above our expectations to help us.

I absolutely adore everything in this home - it is a dream! I am particularly in love with the white cabinets, the modern country aesthetic, and I am IN LOVE with the fact that it has a den. I also love the fact that the left side of the home had just the one door into the utility area so that one could put a garage (or carport) on the home and be able to walk right in there. This is absolutely the perfect house with a truly fantastic price point. A stick home like this in the area I live in would easily cost upwards of $300,000 or so. Love these tour videos and I cannot wait to see more!

There's 3 guest bedrooms and two bathrooms other than the one in the master , so no waiting in line for the bathroom 😁what I liked alot in this mobile home was actual wood shelving in all the closets instead of that white wire shelving and really liked the pendant lights in the kitchen, but overall very nice and spacious 😁✌👍

I really liked this house. My dream is to get out of my 900 sqaure foot apartment and into a bigger home. I live in Florida and concrete homes that are as big as this mobile home run for 350,000 or more. The only thing I didn't like was the master bath shower. That step up makes it hard for people with limited mobility get into it.

I used this model as inspiration when designing our floor plan (stick built). I changed it up quite a bit; all bedrooms on one side, larger formal dining room that features a WBF, one large living space instead of two, entry closet, and ,what you have as a porch, we enlarged and turned it into a small sunroom. We hung a hammock in there with tons of plants and a water fixture. It's such a relaxing space that is useable year round! If we would have went the manufactured route, this is the home we would have chosen.

@kaylamar1288
@kaylamar1288 4 жыл бұрын
@@Bennetts3044 for us, yes. I'm not sure it would work out that way for most though. For starters, we had to log off a good section of the property in order to get equipment where we needed to get it. They paid us roughly $13,000 for that... Then, ontop of doing our own sand mound/septic, my husband is a contractor and is in good with the local Amish Saw Mill. They gave us a fantastic deal on all of the lumber, it honestly barely cost us anything. My husband also has business accounts at the local hardware stores so we get discounts on all of our dry wall, insulation, flooring, plumbing etc. My father works at a window and door factory and whenever someone orders the wrong dimensions for something, the company puts it in a backroom for their employees to pick through at barely any cost (ex: we got a $4000 French door set up for $280 and all of our windows for about $20). My husband's brother works at a cabinet factory and we got the family discount on all of that as well. My husband's grandfather is an electrician and wired our entire house for the cost of a steak dinner lol. We didn't have to outsource labor at all besides having our well drilled and that only cost about $3000(+/-).

Matthew Bassler a zero entry shower would be a good start. As for the tub a walk in option and plenty of handrails. I personally like the layout and for once no floor registers in the walkways! I really don’t understand why manufactures keep putting floor registers in the walkways or far out from the walls! I’m betting that if the designers ever were to put a foot through one than they would think twice about the locations!
@ranger6x660
@ranger6x660 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Matt. For a handicap (electric wheelchair) accessible home speaking from experience living with someone with MS all walk through doorways would have to be a minimum of 36" with no obstructions. The floor would need to be strong enough to handle a 300 pound wheelchair plus the weight of the person sitting in it. The kitchen area would need to be open with access to the appliances sitting in a chair. Basically the house would need to be open concept. At least one bathroom should be rather large for a wheelchair to maneuver comfortably. Plenty of grab bars around the shower, tub, commode and sink. The shower as people have already said would need to be a zero entry. The bathroom sink would need to be accessible by wheelchair so the persons legs would need to be able to go under the sink. These are thing's off the top off my head. It would be great to see one of these homes.
@NightBazaar
@NightBazaar 4 жыл бұрын
@@jaykneegarner2479 I agree with you about the floor registers, although putting a foot through one isn't likely. The main drawback is that they tend to collect dust faster, letting it drop straight into the ducts (if it's left open). Personally, I'd leave them open, otherwise, it means bending down frequently to open or close them. And the adjustment wheel or lever to open or close them can be really painful to accidentally step on. OUCH! Some manufacturers have the registers mounted on the walls but near the floors and return air vents mounted higher up on the walls.

The house is really nice, the few things that I would change are when you come through the front door I don’t like seeing the kitchen as the focal point, I know it’s really popular but I like a formal living room that you don’t see the kitchen, I would like to have a wood burning fireplace and a buffet built in in the dining area, you did put your best foot forward however I must say as all of the closets have nice wooden shelves and crown molding throughout the house. I like the amount of bedrooms and the two baths the storage closet even had wood shelves really nice and well placed. I love the tray ceiling in the master and the master bath is great, I could go with more updated light fixtures over the sinks though instead of bare bulbs they look dated. The shower is really nice and I like the water closet having a window in it the master closet was just perfect big enough for two people to put their clothes and some storage and not too ridiculously oversized where you lose the family room. The only problem with going to your local dealer is you’re not going to get that house with those upgrades at a reasonable price, once you buy the land and clear it run the utilities and put in the foundation you are looking at 300k and you still don’t have a garage or a fenced in yard or a driveway or stairs. Most cities have regulations as to where you can put one of these homes so you are stuck in the trailer park district where you rent the plot or you have to go so rural that you can’t get internet and have to pay a fortune to run power and phone lines to the house plus a septic system so if you are going to pay 300k on upwards then you are better off buying a nice house where you own the land in a well established neighborhood, sure everything won’t be luxury new but you can always remodel or find a house that is new for that price. Plus the financing is really a problem because unless you pay cash for everything you are not going to be able to get a traditional mortgage and you have to go through the builders finance company at a much higher interest rate than a traditional loan even if you have spotless credit. And there is the downside that once you purchase a mobile or manufactured home as you call it you are going to depreciate in value the second you set the place up and if for some reason you had to move and sell the home you would probably only get a third of what you paid for back in the sale. This is a problem many elderly people come across they think they are getting a great value and downsizing from their original stick built house and end up on a rented lot where you have no control over how much the lot space price is going to increase over time, you are probably in social security on a fixed income that rarely sees an increase and even when they do give you a cost of living increase the first thing they do is increase your monthly Medicare payment in the same amount. So if I were to give advice to anyone wanting to downsize and sell their home I would tell them to buy a traditional house which is smaller hire a gardener and only worry about having to pay your property tax and insurance if you paid for the house with cash off your home sale then you would probably have money left to put into your savings account in case something does happen and you have real estate that only increases in value over time and something you could leave to your children to keep or sell after you pass on. Plus you could go a few months with no income and not lose your home the default rate on mobile home loans I believe is currently 43% which is high then you’re out on the street and the mobile home park takes ownership of your home when you can’t pay the lot price this is what happened to my friend he lost everything and ended up homeless and ended up living on the streets just because he missed 3 months of payments on his lot and they just came in and changed his locks and he couldn’t even retrieve his belongings so you really have to plan for the worst case scenario instead of picking the shiniest mobile home.

I like the two tiered island; that blocks the view of the sink from the living room. Good color scheme, I like the white cabinets. Nice home!

GREAT LAYOUT. Mstr shower walk in could be better access. Easy to fix that. Great closet spaces and kitchen just right. Front entrance porch with windowed hallway very clever!!! Love Best I have seen so far and I've looked at over a hundred homes. this one a winner!

I've seen this home before. A front entry coat closet is a must. Otherwise the kids stuff is all over the place. Also lever door handles would be nice. Another nice touch would be the interior trim, at least 3 inch.

Change the cabinets in the kitchen to drawers on the bottom and glass panels on the upper cabinets. Otherwise the home is gorgeous! I love the wide hallways and walk in closets I dont like the shower inserts and tile would be such a nice upgrade. I love the courter rm space in the kitchen but would want it all one level. Love the ceiling in the master bedroom but that soaking tub needs to be a jetted tub, the shower is amazing!!! I love that the toilet is completely isolated from the rest of the bathroom. Overall it's a gorgeous mobile home!!

I really like the wood shelves in the pantry and in the closets! I love everything about this home except that I don't like a master closet that opens only from the bathroom.
