Heehee ok I can’t be the only one who was a total dirtbag at this time? 😂 I mean we were gorgeous and brilliant and amazing (I did get my MA & was a lesbian avenger back then) but there were also a lot of drug deals in dirty club bathrooms, a spot of alcoholism, someone who lived in a weird startup thrift store or a punk flophouse, way too much ooo la la with strangers, oh good lord I used to distribute condoms & dental dams in bars - casual sex, & I hated going with people to buy coke, it was so scary! Never tried it, but god knows I was always somewhere I shouldn’t be… I mean I drink three times a year now, smoke weed legally & that’s it but I remember a bunch of us on the dance floor also being really kind of trashy… please tell me I’m not the only one! (Also I’m now realizing I knew several hustlers & the thrift store was probably also a front for money laundering, I was seriously always the country bumpkin in the middle of shenanigans & was so clueless nobody worried about me telling cuz I really didn’t notice some serious crime around me…I also learned recently that I participated in a drug trafficking ring without knowing a thing, so hopefully I actually am an outlier lol)

Bobby Tate Hi, my friend, I just had to comment upon your own comment. I recall this song from the 1990's, but never before saw the video until today (I tend to procrastinate, lol). But I was struck by the fusion and mix of styles as well, and when you made mention of Jesus Christ, take note of the wicker man burning at 1:18. I was immediately reminded of the 1973 "Wicker Man" film wherein Edward Woodward screams out, "Oh, Jesus Christ!" Hope this tiny tid-bit adds to the fun of this clip!
