Hitler made a pact with Joseph Stalin and invaded Poland in September 1939, launching World War II in Europe. In alliance with Italy and smaller Axis powers, Germany conquered most of Europe by 1940 and threatened Great Britain. looks like Nelson or one of the developers of the Russia map is quite the fan of Metro 2033 novel/games. Artyom (3:36) is the name of the main protagonist and the note in the metro that suggests a creature stalking the writer could be a 'dark one'. let's not forget the gas mask and the filters (5 minute lenght like in the game) are the same.

Ady, I think the infection of Russia starts shortly after the infection of PEI (or Canada) instead of Washington because of this reason: .Canada has airports where comercial planes can land and take-off, but Washington only has a farm with a airstrip, where is difficult to find any comercial plane (This is more a theory that I've made after watching your video) maybe the subject that escaped from the lab was sent to Yukon (Off Limits) and when one of the subjects attacked the Scorpion-7 scientists and the mass infection began, some survivors tried to run away from PEI/Canada/North America and they moved to Russia, but unfortunately there was an infected passenger in their plane and then we know the rest of the story :P

The ghost could be a reference to a thing in 2.0. At a lighthouse you could see 2 glowing red floating eyes for a split second. This was removed in 3.0 but could be comming back.

#QnA Might the "artifact" be actually an alien relic which may contain clues about the virus ? It seems odd that Scorpion 7 bought something with a price 2 times of what the quarry is worth. Also, it might just be that the military retreated in the St Petersburg subway system in hopes of containing the virus, thus explaining why we saw the lines on the wall, which express days and might hold a clue to it all. i have a theory about the scorpion 7 license plate "scrp-7b". It has a b at the end which could suggest that there is a scorpion 7a which could be the one in washington and b is then the one in yukon(or it's just scorpion 7's second car and the first is "scrp-7a")

I have a new theory that the entity stalking the worker in the metro tunnels is Anthena Grimm, or whatever her name is. Since there is a connection between Russia and Buak with the soul crystal research and the scorpion 7 labs in both locations. I think it is the manifestation of her, like at the lighthouse in PEI.
