Relationships are about duality. Both people should be making adjustments regardless of income. Unfortunately for a lot of high earning men they know how to be responsible for everything except for emotionally intelligent especially to women who have their own. They don't need you in. A lot of the same way most women do. My man makes more amount more money than me, we live separately, but when we're having conversations now about our expectations in our relationship aside from house roles and thankfully we agree on a lot and everything is fair. I'm not bending and he's not bending to anything. Our house (once we cohabitate together) will not be a dictatorship but a team and the same vice-versa because he's shown me even with money he makes now that his income is not being used to dominate me but so I'll show him the upmost respect regardless of what he makes. And I've seen him in every season as yall mentioned.

With the married men out weighing those that are not on this particular pod yall speak very pesimistically about marriage.......Interesting.
@amarelogan70812 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's pessimistic, I feel they speaking about all fronts, not just the good, they also address the downside, which is literally the other 50% of the equation
@theehardpill2 жыл бұрын
@@amarelogan7081 I'm not saying they don't speak from both sides. They actually do I've listened to enough convos to know but for married men to be MOSTLY speaking about the downsides to marriage especially as a man with money it just makes me think why are they married 1 and 2 why wouldn't they instead heavily advocate for vetting the right woman to build a family and wealth with vs essentially calling most black women opps for lack of a better phrase. I'm a Podcaster myself who speaks on both but I heavily advocate for cooperation on BOTH sides to let people know they have a chance if they go into it with good intentions vs the ladder.
@amaragrace942 жыл бұрын
From what I've seen they all believe in marriage. They just understand they are taking a huge risk if it goes south once you sign those papers. And with the divorce rate so high, I get it. They just think there are very few women out there that have the full package (physical attraction, sexual compatibility, similar interests where you feel like best friends, intelligent mindset, similar values, similar lifestyles, and similar outlooks/goals for the future...someone you can build with that can go through life's highs and lows with). Until that person comes along, they just encourage men and women to get their rosters up so to speak and play the field.🤷🏾♀️ Their wives were the full package for them which is why they married them.
@usmanvcx2 жыл бұрын
@@theehardpill real men advice other men with facts not fantasy so of course they’ll lean into the dark side more. The fact that they’re married only adds more credibility to their advice.
@theehardpill2 жыл бұрын
@@amaragrace94 the very same thing can be said about most black men not being the full package, creating and leaving most bw women single mothers to carry most the load. There's risks in everything but if you're a HAPPILY married person I'd think that most of your content would be towards advocating for a union vs the alternative. I'm about conversations surrounding caution but fear? NAH.

Dont you forgo child support when you get split custody?
@akualove9112 жыл бұрын
It depends on the difference in income levels between the parents. But for average people yes, the things is most men don't want or fight for split custody. They are okay with seeing there children 4 days a month. The flip is most women don't fight for it either, because of several factors I think the main ones being they don't want to seem like a bad mother, they want child support or they are not confident that the father can adequately take care of the kids ( the last one being partially the fault of women as well).

It's very difficult to understand the majority because I know alot of women hold black men down and treat them right and get nothing in return. I make 6 figures in my healthcare job, I paid for my education and worked full time while I was in school studying. Fast forward now, I been with my partner for 12yrs and pay all the bills because he wanted to stop working and go back to school. I have paid for school 4 times now, and each time he quit and have excuses. He have yet to complete school and is not working.
