Incredible as always. Not only answered my question regarding the spring caps, but got to see it in action in different places as well. Can't wait to see how it looks like in the DIY set-up. Keep up the amazing work, mate!

Just bought the new spring. Will give my feedback hopefully next week. FYI I'm in Melbourne if that helps.
@Infamoustr85 Жыл бұрын
Ok so I've had a couple of weeks with it and noticed something important which might be helpful for others. The base needs to be secured more than with the previous spring. I was using the previous KS2 spring with the paddles and sand bags. When I changed to the KS3 spring I honestly didn't find much difference other than that I can now throw in a few uppercuts. Then I noticed I had to keep repositioning the bags with the new spring. I then added 2 x 15kg dumbbells on top of the bags. Wow what a difference the spring is with the base properly secured. I think the new spring must transfer the load down to the base. Hopefully this makes sense.
@Kewlus Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback!!! Yes the KS3 needs the base to be more sturdy to get the full performance improvements

Question, please. What is the thickness of the rods? Will it fit in my Ringside post/base pole? Your spring definitely seems better than the Ringside and Title bag (I have both).
@Kewlus2 жыл бұрын
Hi Joey, it's based on my original DIY/Kewlus design, which fits onto a standard 3/4 inch plumbing pipe. It's backward compatible with all my previous designs, including the DIY integrations. I did not design it to fit any other types of commercial cobra bags, but if the diameter fits then you may be able to upgrade. The inner diameter of the connectors is 27mm.
@joey_ricciardi1172 жыл бұрын
@Kewlus great, thankyou for the quick response. I may even just buy your whole setup. I just hate for these other 2 cobra bags to go to waste.
@Kewlus2 жыл бұрын
Thank you brother - I know what you mean. Those other cobra bags are impossible to upgrade and if something breaks, like the spring (and they don't last long), it's almost impossible to replace. That's exactly why I developed the modular concept.

Hey Reedy, KS3 looks amazing in action! Thinking of upgrading from the diy KS2 spring. Looks like there is metal end caps attached to the spring. How am I suppose to attach it to the upper 3/4 pvc pipe and the bottom 3/4 galvanized pipe/nipple? KS2 slid into both and then we used alligator clamps. How would KS3 be attached to the diy set up?
@Kewlus2 жыл бұрын
Would just slide on and you can simply use duct tape to tape the connectors in place

Update; The new KS3 spring arrived and the recoil is quick, much more solid and give me (6’2”) the perfect punch for my. As fast as base, it moves a bit much and thinking if a 1 inch bar would be more solid to stop the vibration on the bottom.

Hey Reedy, don't think you send to UK, what are the specs for the new spring and any idea where I could get one. Cheers

I do ship to the UK from a warehouse in Canada so yes you can order from the UK. There may be import tax at your end though which I don’t cover. Add a product to the cart to get a shipping cost. It’s not too much.

would the KS3 without the connector fit into the rubber caps?
@Kewlus Жыл бұрын
No it would not fit because it’s a bigger diameter spring. The connectors at each end of the KS3 slip perfectly onto the Click Bar or the 3/4 inch pipe for DIY. There’s no need for the rubber end caps with this new spring

I just got my K3 spring going on day two and I'm constantly adjusting the spring and tightening it to the two metal ends (loctite and plumbers tape doesn't seem to be working). It gets annoying after two mins of use, I can feel it loosening. K3 might be faster than the k2 but having to adjust it ruins my workout.
