I made the exact same comparisons and I chose the B2650 for the win. Very happy with it!

I’ve got a B2920 and it’s just about perfect. I would prefer an L series so I have the full size frame. That adjustable steering wheel is very nice!

I agree, the steering wheel makes it much easier on you especially if you are working long hours like we tend to do when out there. Terry

I purchased an L3301. Worth every penny and maintain 12 deer plots plus approximately 6 acres.

I looked at the B2650. Its a great tractor but the L2501 is the same price and more capable. You can handle heavier implements with the compact frame. It uses an engine that has been used for decades and is still super reliable. Overall the L2501 is more stable for difficult and hilly terrain.

the HP enough to do deeper digging at a good rate ?
@ForestToFarm3 жыл бұрын
Not sure where you are getting your stats. If you go to tractordata.com the B2650 has a little over 200 more pounds lift capacity on the three point hitch Than the L series. Same rear PTO at 540 rpm. The L weighs about 300 more pounds but for us that is not a plus as we wanted less weight since a good bit of our use is on turf. The size of an L is bigger as well and again it was not what we wanted because the B series is so much more maneuverable again a big plus for our needs. The L series loaders do lift slightly higher but for our needs that was not an issue. Its all in what you need and a "more capable" tractor is dependent on what you need. Terry
@auburnalum90193 жыл бұрын
@@ForestToFarm they both have the same loader. Tractordata is not correct nor a Bible and not always correct when I have compared company .com website stats. What exactly are you lifting with the rear hitch without counter weight on the front? That is a super light tractor. Are you slaloming through corn rows? I have 14 acres of heavily wooded land and the L2501 is just perfect. To each his own.

You made a whole video without showing the machine DOING anything. It's a tool, not an ornament. You've successfully talked me out of it. If it could DO something well, you would have shown so.
