I saw the music video as a progress into chaos. Since the track is called Sweet Chaos, they represent them falling into chaos. With the beginning being pretty stale and boring (which could represent the "sweet" part) and then the colors come in, introducing the chaos, and then at the end their hair gets wet and the camerawork completely changes, like chaos. I thought it was a cool representation, and it went with the song.

as a film student myself, this was exactly my reaction to the mv too when i first watched it and i couldn’t get enough of it and kept going back to watch it to try to look at every set it’s so simple yet there’s so much to it and i’m not praising bc i love day6 but rather from my own view in what i learn from film school it’s really a great production

I really like how music video reflects lyrics! members themselves get more and more disheveled as the video progresses, from sleek hairstyles and suits and black-and-white coloring to color to wet hair and messy clothes BUT the "world" around them expands and gets more colorful, more dynamic. so like yes the person they sing about drives them crazy and turns everything upside down but at the same time it's all worth it! because look the walls are crashing and Thanos is here and sh*t!!

I've been waiting! My thoughts before I watch the reaction: the video was really interesting in the slow switch black and white to colour, from formal and clean looking outfits and hairstyles, to a slightly more disheveled look. I deeply enjoy the Thanos snap effect. I also cannot shake the My Chemical Romance vibes from this song, even the video too. It vibes so strongly with old My Chem. Edit: post watching the reaction, I was reminded how much I enjoy the shard-like effects. Plus Dowoon living his best life. I also really picked up on how the start of the video was a 'fake out' after PDnim mentioned it, and it's a really intriguing method to use. God, this comeback is so good.

@@hana-vh4bq Imma be real, I haven't actively listened to MCR in a while. This is also gonna be a long answer. The video style reminds me of The Ghost of You with a hint of I Don't Love you; the song itself is a bit more complicated to compare. Maybe I'd compare it to The Sharpest Lives, and maybe Famous Last Words. I definitely feel You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison for the vibe. I'd recommend checking out the albums The Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. It's hard to pick songs just by vibe to an extent, you might find something you like.

I think the set expanding is a physical representation of the concept of entropy and chaos. In physics/chem the universe tends towards randomness and disorder because this state requires less energy. I feel like the set and dissolving effect symbolise this idea along with the lyrical ideas. I think it gets more colourful because they want this chaos to seem positive ("sweet")

I really loved this music video for its striving towards representing entropy in an artistic form. It starts out in black and white and the movements of the members and the camera are very limited and “stale” but as the mv continues we begin to see color and the walls fall away and the members and the camera’s movement becomes dynamic and you see the sweat in their hair. you can even see their molecules around them, like how molecules tend towards chaos in the idea of entropy. pretty cool :)

@@namirakhanum986 in regards to how you refer to someone, gendered pronouns tend to be used to avoid using the person's name a ton. he and she are typical gendered pronouns. some people prefer to use the singular they in reference to themself ("THEY reacted to the video"), and pd is one of them (because they are trans and especially don't like people using male pronouns for them). hope that clears that up!
