Daniel said he re-recorded his rap part at the opening to be more soft and monotonous to compliment to the featured artists and to create a build-up as the song progresses harder with Jamie and Simon. He has his own musical vision on point and gets deeply involved creating soundscape for his works. In many cases, short songs less than 3 min often feel like incomplete and dissatisfying to me, but this one is not the case. Three voices are so perfectly weaved together, not a single second is wasted here nor overly done and it really feels tight and complete. Please check out his side tracks in album Magenta to see more Daniel’s vocal, especially the first track Flash. It’s an outstanding track and def. not to miss.

I really enjoyed your thoughts on the MV and distribution, CEO Kang when he heard the song he instantly thought of Jimin and asked her to collab! He has told us before how he wants to experiment a lot with different genres (and also that he practiced the pronunciation of the spanish a lot) so I'm really proud of him being able to do it and enjoy his music. I also like Daniel's singing more than rapping and I didn't miss it in his past songs but it felt good hearing it here. His voice is lower when he raps than when he sings so I thought it brought a good variation to the song. The ending is a teaser for his title song Who U Are that got released yesterday: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYLNaHiaYr9sgs0 along with his album Magenta. I see you seem to really like Daniel so I'd like to suggest doing an album listening reaction to Magenta. He has 2 more songs with featurings: Runaway with Yumdda and Movie with Dvwn which also have good line distribution. The album goes from high energy to slow songs and Daniel gets to use different tones of his voice. He wrote lyrics for 5 out of 6 songs and Flash especially is very personal. It's about him overcoming hardships to be able to debut and promote as a soloist.

Daniel being so unique (with the Collab,MV,etc) is the reason because he's the CEO of his own company. There's no officials pushing him or limiting his art to make profit off of the regular, good or standard Kpop Imagery of Idols. He has freedom to do things which K-pop companies don't allow. He can and he does things which are beyond the norms of K-pop. And damnn......Massive Respect to him for being unique and Free! He's literally the leader of Next generation Soloists.
