In a way I am so glad that K, EJ, Nicolas and Taki were left out of Enhypen. It allowed them time to improve and grow as artists and boy did they grow! Seeing them in The Howling I was so shocked to see how well their singing has improved. Like Nicolas and Taki! Such beautiful voices and so much more stable now. I am so proud of the boys. They've come so far. I'm excited to get to know the other members more and see them as one team. Loved the debut, can't wait for more!

@@dadian803 It just a dumb hater when K himself said in &TEAM Gakuen that while they're still in I-LAND, NI-KI and TA-KI would always wait until his practice session end even if they have to wait for 5-6 hour just so that all three of them could return to their dorm together and in the same episode NI-KI also said that he's glad K and TA-KI is always there for him in I-LAND, i assumed this include the fact that K is willing to scold and advice him if there's a need for it. In NI-KI birthday V-Live, NI-KI decided to call K and they said that both of them have a chat together on the phone everyday and K said he's is not aware that they're on V-Live until the middle of the chat. The three of them is very closed that they called them the Japanese Trio. It's doesn't make any sense if you considered all this info, plus Mnet is known for evil editing. If not evil editing, they are also known for manipulating the idol survival show to make it more dramatic. Beside, i doubt what we see in I-LAND is the full story, probably less than 1% of what actually take place. Then, there's the self-proclaimed Japanese on some random online forum hater claimed which contradict to what i heard from actual Japanese person.

i personally think that K was always not meant to debut in enhypen. he was in iland for exposure amd to build fanbase for the japan boy group. i mean hybe thinks years ahead, so the concept of vampire and werewolf were already there before iland.

It’s been 2 years after Under the Skin and hence after their debut. They are rising stars but I really wished they had better promotions to get them globally recognized. I haven’t been this excited about a group since TXT. I discovered &TEAM through i-Land about a month ago and was so blown away by their music, choreographies and of the members’ personalities! Hybe really knows how to make insane storylines and keep people following and analysing them. This makes me even more excited for their other comebacks to see how the storyline will go. Especially it's so cool to see how Hybe is connecting these two groups. I literally cried at the end when I saw Enhypen members. I hope we will get to see &team and enhypen collab one day. Now I wonder if Enhypen will also have more storyline going in their future comebacks which connects to &team too. This is just so creative.

This is probarly my favorite debut along with TXT and Newjeans. Hybe really surprised me by pulling out two incredible debuts this year. I swear these are not the same boys on &audition! Don't get me wrong the boys were fab on the show but their growth in such a short period of time is just out of this world. I love how Hybe always picked songs that don't sound like traditional Kpop/Jpop songs and I Iove how there isn't a rap part in the song.BTW the choreo is just INSANE!!! WHO WAS THE CHOREOGRAPHER OF THIS SONG?!?!! All of the boys impressed me a lot but I wish some of the members got more screen time like EJ, Fuma, and Taki. They teased the new iland GG at the end of the extended version. Bet they will have a witch concept! Also, the scene where K jumped and tried to grab the moon reminds me of Chaewon's jumping part in Fearless.

Please don’t expect &AUDITION to be like ILand Because it’s really not! Some say it’s not too serious because it doesn’t show a lot of the behind the scenes work. But I loved it because they focused on being one team and they didn’t have any evil editing and the competition aspect wasn’t there to stir any drama I really loved it and I think that’s why they’re team atmosphere is strong because they focused on teamwork so much and nobody left the shows with scars

But yeah the 4 I-Land boys were set to debut in &Team at the start and were team leaders! It was a surprisingly wholesome survival show & I hope to see the boys who didn’t make it debut in the future because all of them had so much potential 😭

This is definitely one of the best debuts ever. HYBE just doesn’t disappoint with concepts and storytelling. My mouth was on the floor watching the whole video. Then at the end when K, EJ, Nicholas and Taki running after the bus with Enhypen on it just broke me.

Also note that more than half of the members already had a strong dance background which gives them such precision and sharp movements, giving their performances more emotion and feel. I really believe their dance performances give the same feel as Seventeen’s choreography in the sense that they make you feel something with their music and story.

ikr!! I became a BTS fan much later (after bs&t) but the HYYH era is easier to connect to since it tells the experiences of people through high school and the young awkwardness of youth after teenagehood and not quite into adulthood yet. this werewolf concept would've easily lost a chunk of the mature fans who have been around since i-land if the story wasn't written AND delivered so well. I am not a music/dance expert, just a k-pop enjoyer lol, but hybe was really able to utilize the emotional bond we formed with the group SO WELL, firstly through i-land and then &audition: the howling. if this concept was delivered by any other new boy group, i feel like it would've been hard for the audience to feel emotional for them but since fans of K, Nico, Taki, and EJ have been around for a while and these new members also came through a reality show, it's like they made the pack-like feeling even before introducing it as a concept T~T then again, all the members are extraordinarily talented and all-rounders, I am so happy they debuted as this lineup of 9.

And I found it again with &Team. I've watched Iland after watching the &Audition. I cried when the four were eliminated. For me falling in love with &team happened cos I said “I wish I’d been a fan of BTS since debut, wouldn’t that have been cool” so when I saw the teaser for &team a few weeks back I just wanted to see them debut to see what it’s like… watched this MV alone then again when my teens arrived home from school and thought nothing more of it, a decent pop song with rock elements and great choreo. Of course YT suggested the choreo video a few days later so when I watched that, I noticed Fuma straight away (The beautiful transition guy!) Rewatched this video multiple times to try to figure out which member he was and the song grew on me rather than annoyed me! Then watched Scent of You and decided I’m a fan. Excited to see how they progress and watch all the behind the scenes stuff. Watching the &audition episodes were so informative too, really liked the members and felt sad at those who didn’t make it. Gotta give it to hybe, they KNOW how to not only come up with great stories/concepts but execute them perfectly. I wholeheartedly agree with you that this might be the best debut ever. The lyrics, production, cinematography, choreography, EVERYTHING was mind blowing. As a longtime fan of K, I will admit I was incredibly disappointed & pissed out of my mind when he didnt make it into Enhypen but MY GOD that's now the best thing that could've happened. K belongs in &Team. His growth both as an artist & as a person in &Audition was heartwarming to see so I'm excited for you to check it out. I couldn't be prouder of my boy! Also, side note. 35:43 - Yuma (yes he is absolutely beautiful) 37:02 - Maki (the youngest) 42:00 - YES HE IS NICHOLAS 😭😭 I really rooted for K in iland, and then the other 3, and then the whole &audition. This debut made me cry, like after 2 years we finally got something, and something that exceeded all our expections. People are so used to high notes, racing car raps and machine dancing, they can feel this is underwhelming for them... But this is a perfect example what an artist is supposed to be, show ART. And these boys did. They touched people's emotions and that's more than enough to describe an artist's success. I hope people listen to them without a prejudice of "oh but it's jpop" So what? In my opinion, a lot of Japanese male idols have sugoii visuals. I mean, &TEAM is not the very first male idols who have such visuals. But, the Japanese agencies didn't explore enough to maximize their filmography and show the stunning visuals. Gladly, HYBE already be the one who do the job greatly.

not sure if you’ll see this but the reason its only the i-land members at the end of the extended version is because (spoilers for dark moon the blood altar) the other boys are investigating werewolf trafficking by the vampires (not enhypen), which eventually enha also join in also YES they have a HYBE OS (Original Story) department, so a dedicated team writing the storyline!

I am SOOO HAPPY that you are so into them. I watched &audition for K and Taki, and came away from it thinking that the final group was gonna be cute but nothing special, and then they hit us all with this. They were so good. It's astonishing how much some of them have improved since the show, they seem so polished but there is an intensity to them as well. It's cheesy, with the concept and all, but I'd described them as hungry. I'm gonna be shouting about them from the rooftops. Thank you so much for dropping this gigantic video. You have no idea how my eyes literally felt like they glistened as you slowly said how they might be one of your ult boy groups because haha look at me now having Nicho as my YT profile, to having Under the Skin as my pinned music in my facebook profile, and to having to wait for my &TEAM The First Howling: Me album limited B to come and be delivered. 😂 They literally have beat even my ult boy groups from kpop industry. They just raised my standards. Apart from everyone literally looking like they came from an animated world and apart from their talents, they're also very very entertaining and very comfortable with one another- plus they're literally so kind, sweet, and respectful to one another and that's why they're my ults right now. ❤ They're just so perfect to me to stan. Every time their channel uploads new videos, my face lights up and I finish whatever I'm doing just to click on that video. Oh how I really hope they get the hype and attention they deserve soon.

It was the same for me! I didn't particularly love the song the first time I heard it, I actually came across the mv again and listened to it while reading the caption. The lyrics were incredible! And I regretted not finishing my first listen to the song. IT WAS JUST PERFECT. AND THE CONCEPTT?! It's not a particularly new one but I feel like &team is perfect for it!
