My favourite La's track. It's transcendental in its beauty and fragility. Lee was head and shoulders above his peers. Immense talent. Thanks for all the uploads Tone.

Still listening and enjoying 32 years after hearing it for the first time. A truly beautiful, brilliant song.

I'm rediscovering these guys after years have gone by. I loved them when they first came out, thenforgot about them over the years. I must have had the album, as I recognise all these songs and can sing along, yet I cannot find it anywhere, and have no recollection of buying it. It is like I dreamt the whole thing.

hahaha. me too EXACTLY now. been awya from them for 30 yrs now. i got the album when i was living in London in 1990 ! loved it from first listen. amazing. i knew it was on another level. yet no one had heard of them. no big impact on anyone. i was amazed and still am to this day at how good it was. now i know about Lee Mavers. a legend. but you gotta sort of think Lee has a lot to do with the little success. he wouldst ever be a team player for the industry to help promote himself or sell more records. plus his perfectionism... didint bode well. such a waste tho. how many songs and good albums could have been released. i think Steve Lilllywhite did a sterling production with what he had. the album is brilliant!

I don't know how their music relates to me, but they resonate. This band somehow easily puts tears to my eyes or a smile to my lips. Bless them!

One of the top 5 songs I've ever seen performed live, even if Lee Mavers was stoned out of his box and drooling down the mic! Class

ToneGarvey it was when they reformed a few years back, at V Festival. Think it was around 04/05

Oh Lee had bad dental problems then. He was going onstage with his jaw numbed! Wouldn't rule out him being stoned as fuck though ;)

Thanks for keeping this online. Still one of my favourite songs on the 'internal jukebox' if melancholic....it has that joyous element too. Brilliant. Just teenagers at the time...like The Stone Roses etc...how did they get this kind of music down so well at that age? :~) Tis treasure...arr.
