Loving Lil's hair with the pearly looking headband and earrings. Giving me Anne Boleyn vibes for some reason. All she needs now is a B necklace 👸

The Tudor period isn't really my period but I appreciate you showing us some of the text and reading out that excerpt because I actually thought it sounded pretty good and may give Alison Weir a try 🙂 Also, doggy is adorable!

I've just picked up an Alison Weir in the charity shop. Six tudor queens- Katherine of Aragon. I've not read her before. At the moment i am reading Philippa Gregory Three sisters three queens, which i am really enjoying.❤️

The Six Tudor Queens is a great book series. Beautiful books. The first featuring Catherine of Aragon is a hefty yet strong debut to the series.

What do you enjoy about Three Sisters, Three Queens? I was excited to read it but was disappointed by it really. I thought we may get three points of view with the three women but we only get Margaret's view who comes across as really negative, annoying, petty and stubborn etc.

The book sounds interesting....something I could possibly be persuaded to purchase ☺I've been watching Becoming Elizabeth, the whole thing with Thomas Seymour had been an interesting part of the series!! My 8 year old questioned if he was related to Jane....it made me so happy as she is really getting into the Tudor period!!!! This reminds me, I need to get back to How to Be a Tudor!!! Thank you for the honest review of the book, sometimes we need to re-read things from many years ago!!xx

I love that your 8-year old is getting into Tudor history. I was around 11 or 12 when I first became interested in the Tudor period.

I read this book a couple years ago and I felt the same way about it. I wondered if it was just me because, as much as I love Tudor history, I do find it hard to get into Tudor historical fiction books. But this video gives me hope that maybe I could really love some Tudor books. I'm really interested in the six Tudor queens series.

You recently asked whether you should take the plastic covers off your queens, If it was me I would, feeling the material would be fantastic. Though I appreciate it would mean regular cleaning.

I enjoyed this video. Have you read the Elizabeth book by Margaret George, I have it in my bookcase but as yet haven’t read it so cannot say if it’s any good. I did however enjoy her book about Henry VIII

It's great to do rereads after a really long time, bc we change so much (and most of the time forget everything lol), I have Innocent traitor and it will be my first Alison Weir. At this point I am working my way tru Philippa Gregory's series (at book 11!). It will be interesting reading these stories from someone else's perspective. Which one of Alison Weir's books are your favorites?
