This video was exactly what I needed and it helped immensely. I'm really proud that my first icord neckline turned out so well and it's all thanks to your detailed explanation. Have a great day ^^

Very nice tutorial in explaining how to pick up sts and making the Icord. I have a sweater pattern worked top down. Is it possible to work the Icord edge at the beg of the pattern or is it just for finishing afterwards? Thx

It is possible to knit an I-Cord on its own and then pick up stitches along the I-Cord to create the stitches you need. It is also possible to work an "I-Cord Cast On" but I find my tension on the first row of stitches is a little off with that technique. If I find a solution to that issue I'll post a tutorial on it!
