Vogel might be a great defensive coach , but if the players you have on the court are lacking in defensive ability (older, slower, or unable to understand the scheme) or just don’t put forth the defensive effort needed to at least be average on defense, there is nothing more you can do! He’s handcuffed with the players he has and he will lose his job at the end of this season because of that! They are flaming out quickly and it’s leading to very embarrassing loses, not just tough close loses , blowouts to lesser teams!

Every game is the same. Bron ..top of the key. Everyone else standing and watching. Bron comes off the ball. He either goes and set a pick so he can roll and get the ball right back or he seals his man at the front of the rim. Opposing teams aren't worried about Bron beating them. They focus on the others. Bron gets his numbers. If the Lakers play an average to above average team...they lose by double digits. Media then attacks the co-stars...the role players..the Coach...the GM...the Owner...the Owners friends. But not the number 1 option. Bron isn't the first great player to put up numbers on a bad team. But the majority of time that player gets the blame for lack of success.

I blame anthony davis for not being aggressive enough after he won the championship years ago he has lost the motivation to get better and is not playing consistent enough to help them win. Also getting ride of the young players that helped them win the championship in 2020 was a stupid move by management and replacing them with players past their prime expecting them to play defense and offensive consistently which they can't because they can't sustain it for 4 quaters.
