The scariest part is, that blackhole is 10 billion light years away from us, so we can only see it how it was 10 billion years ago, let that sink in, and then try to imagine how big it is now...
@canman_sucks_sub_twi

doesn't that mean that it's older than us, cuz the solar system was formed 6 billion years ago
@godofcheese5528
@godofcheese5528 Жыл бұрын
Perhaps it could be taking on a completely new form, maybe it could be shrinking, maybe it could be moving farther away from us, maybe towards us. We have to rely on billions of years of light traveling just to tell us an incomprehensible small fraction of the black hole's story.
@saimedhanshbitla5157
@saimedhanshbitla5157 Жыл бұрын
@@canman_sucks_sub_twi the black hole is 100% older than us, in fact it’s so large it should be older than the universe itself. Plus that wasn’t his main point anyway, his main point was that the light we see from the black hole is 10 billion years old, meaning it’s probably grown substantially during that time.

It's not the "new" biggest black hole because currently Ton 618 still holds the record Like I mean we don't even know the size of it and we can't really figure out what the size of something is right after discovering it. Currently they are still studying about the actual size and even if it took the record Ton 618 is further away at 10 billion ly while Phoenix A* is only 8.5 billion ly away so it would be bigger because we would see Ton as it was 10 billion years ago oh and galaxies are on another level of size. It definitely would be bigger than Phoenix A* and every single black hole grows every second so Ton is probably bigger than we could ever imagine currently

Well, according to scientific theories, black holes are thought to be formed when massive stars die and collapse in on themselves. When a star is at the end of its life, it has exhausted its nuclear fuel and becomes unstable. As the star collapses, it emits a huge burst of energy, which can trigger the formation of a black hole. The amount of energy emitted depends on the mass of the star
