Thank you for having this discussion. I am from the USA but this is beyond disturbing. Brutish and primitive to treat young women and girls as commodities and not even highly valued possessions. And to think that those brave souls who sound the alarm are accosted verbally and physically by those who wish to whitewash the truth in the name of fairness. I fear that both our countries are declining and headed towards 3rd world status.
@arthurw8054 Жыл бұрын
Wow. Whoever said "learning is fun" was definitely oversimplifying. I'm in the USA and never heard anything about this... Kudos to both Charlie and Louise for presenting it. The story itself is horrific, but the political motives behind why such things either get redressed or ignored - whether due to ideology or corruption - is also both predictable and interesting. The politicization of things that should not be politicized is of course rife across the pond, too.

It's important to compare minority overrepresentation in any crime with the dominant culture to better understand the phenomenon. If you watch my documentary, you'll see 'Asian' (predominantly Pakistani) abusers compared statistically with the indigenous population. The comparison is also useful because while white GLCSE gangs exist, the minority GLCSE gangs have very different drivers: their crimes are often driven by race hate. Indeed, I think this scandal is the biggest race hate crime of the century in Britain. And yet, none of the anti-racist charities give a toss. It makes me sick.

@@charliepeters755 I was referring to the Tommy Robinson point, for example. You know how people like him would have no power? If there were no foreigner r*ping children... By the authorities being silent about the problem, now, not only do I have no trust in them, and not only must I now assume the worse about any rumor, they also just made the problem worse and prolonged it. This SHOULD lead to racism and racial tensions. Not because that is good, or fair but because that shows that there are consequences to actions, and the community has an incentive to stop abusers. What would happen if it was in reverse? There WOULD be violence, or at least a lot of protests etc. But there are no consequences this way. None systemically, and none by normal people too. If the community leaders did not see English people as weak pushovers, but as people you need to respect, as equals, they would not protect these abusers, because that would mean possibly endangering your own people. And that is something they WOULD care about. By being so defensive about the people actually complaining about these problems (and there are others with migration, knife crime etc) you are making them persist and far worse, until one day the English people are really angry and there is actual violence on large scales. There should have been racial tensions and racism after the first case came out, and it would have stopped, and there would never have been this buildup of potential violence and resentment between the communities

The Guardian's _"Most Child Abuse Gangs are White"_ article was quite dishonest. I recommend reading Patrick O'Flynn's article in The Spectator entitled _"The Home Office's Report is an Exercise in Obfuscation"_ for a more accurate take on the report & its findings. For an example, the report cites 2011 data on 2,300 possible offenders, of which ethnic information was only known for approximately 750 (which raises questions on its own). Of those, 30% were White and 28% were Asian. This figure was used to justify the "Most are White..." claim bandied about by The Guardian and others. Demographic context is ignored. A second, smaller study in 2013 looked at 306 offenders, and found that 75% were Asian, a 10-fold overrepresentation.

This story Did Not first come out in 2003 with Labour MP Anne Prior and Times journalist Andrew Norfolk. As distasteful to the middle class as it is, Nick Griffin and the BNP have been telling everyone this since the 80's. Tommy Robinson has done more to expose Islamic child rape gangs than anyone else. I heap mountains of praise on Anyone bringing attention to this issue irrespective of their class or political views. Just because you don't agree with someone's political views and you're able to dismiss them due to their class..... doesn't make them wrong.

Whether he likes it or not Nick Griffin (and later Tommy Robinson) raised this issue publicly well before Andrew Norfolk wrote about or published it. In 2004 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKbchmaam8lmpqc he's interviewed by a deliberately displaying outrage Gavin Esler. On this point he is completely undeniably correct. This is the reason the BNP gained council seats in Burnley in 2002. Maybe they don't want to overshadow the actual story or taint it, but it's just a fact.

Yes, they obfuscate the discernable legitimate revisionism that shows what they disparage as being 'far right hate fantasies' as merely mostly being early outcries of what was going on & they maintain a wall of disdain against those they see as lesser than them to avoid facing the guilt of enabling decades of terrible sexual atrocities.

I'm not a statistician but some back-of-the-envelope calculation re 9:55 ... Wikipedia tells me the Rotherham cases are counted from 1997-2013 (16 years) and the victims were 11-16 yrs old. So all the victims at 2013 were already born at 1997. From a googled 1997 population pyramid, females in the 0-16 age group comprise some 10% of the UK. Assuming Rotherham follows the same pattern, there were about 14000 under 16 girls. Hence roughly 1510/14000 = 10% of all girls in Rotherham ≤16 years were abused. Sound right?
@GodsOwnPrototype Жыл бұрын
There should also be consideration of the fact that the number of abused remain under counted, under reported and under estimated, as they usually are.

@@masoodkhan1096 Islam divides humankind into three categories: Muslim, dhimmi, kuffar; or in other words: first rate, second rate and third rate human beings (not unlike the South African Apartheid system wich divided the population into whites, coloureds and blacks). When millions of muslims all over the world are indoctrinated into believing they are somehow better than, and morally superior to non-muslims, it is no surprise the consequence is that they end up viewing and treating non-muslims as trash. After all, what are we kuffar other than enemies of Allah, walking fuel for the fires of Hell. We don't have to be treated with respect. There is one standard for how to treat muslims, and another for how to treat us sub-human kuffar. "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" seem to be a very fitting description of Islam.

The elephant in the room here is that sexual exploitation is rife in the UK, so rife that's it's part of dating lore. The ethnic minorities highlighted here have taken exploitation to the next level, the irony is the ethnic minorities in question, have themselves traditionally a culture that protects from sexual exploitation that's more dominant in the UK. Just to clarify, not justifying the criminal activity here, it's just understanding it.
