Honestly, his position is really great. The Hattusa province is very defendable and he has a really great roster to be aggressive and defensive with. You honestly just need the Zippalanda, Hattusa, Ancyra, and Krateia provinces and the northern province up north with the gold and bronze and you're pretty much set for the rest of the campaign.

Costin there is something I don't understand, I play with Troy, Hector is the Wanax, I know that other clans can be adopted to your dynasty, but does that mean that there will always be peace with them? Or can they still attack you? I don't understand the benefits of adopting them

why would you pick the archers over the slingers? the slingers start with a shield, unlike most other factions slingers.
