Trico seems to behave very close to an actual pet or animal. I love how he claws at the jug when you throw it off the edge. Little things are adding up here. Cant wait to buy this game. I love the animation on how the kid runs too its fucking adorable.

As much as I'd like this game to be great I see very glaring potential flaws just from the released gameplay. For one, I sure hope there is a change in scenery outside of the crumbling temple area that you get to experience and that is just the beginning. The slow and methodical gameplay is nice at first, but it has to develop into something more alive and action oriented once the initial area is completed. The context sensitive actions that your companion can do should evolve over time. A pitfall is going back and retreading the same gameplay loop we saw in this video at various instances just for a puzzle fix instead of tying directly into story progression. I understand the marketing team is careful in revealing too much - I'm just saying that if it avoids these weaknesses after the initial setup of the story / area it would be that much stronger for it.

I LOVE how similar this is to ICO. Boy has to escape falling apart place, is getting chased by evil and has a friend to help him. Of course they were both created by the same people. :) Anyone else pissed when that bad griffin just smacked Trico in the face and they both fell? :( Someone needs to upload a walkthrough of the whole game. :D

silverblackcat Probably because people are lazy and it would be like a 10 hour or more video, lol! I mean this video itself is 35 minutes and it looks like its still like the beginning of the game. Boy meets Griffin, helps his escape then they explore a bit before finding other griffins. :)

The semi-procedural animation on the kid is pretty damn janky at times, esp. when physics are in play, but eh. As long as the rest of the game keeps up, I'm sold.

I do believe that the boy is animated quite nice. Like when he goes down some stairs. Not like your typical videogame protagonists that always moves perfectly or less realistic around the levels.

Not just that but it makes it feel more like you're controlling a child. The way he moves acts as an indicator of how young the protagonist is or could be. Like the way Wander would fumble around in shadow of the colossus. It's a nice touch.

The gameplay seems solid, graphics are ok, the AI also seems to work fine, the animation of the kid pushing or carrying stuff looks kinda weird. Hope it fills the expectations.

Controlling Trico seems a bit like a chore. He seems a bit too slow and a bit too frequently hesitant about any jump. I wonder if it's to pad out the length of the game. Still looks like it'll be interesting.

SDS Overfiend the game is revolved around physics and the boy has some ragdoll motion to enhance realistic movement. Unlike your typical solid animation, the boy is more fluid and loose.

this game looks like a next gen game for you? it looks like a ps3 shitty game ( did you see the draw distance? vegetation if there is something becasue barely, the ground, the architectures) so worse than plenty of aaa games wich came out to ps3, even the director said ps3 power wouldnt be any problem for this game and obviously not this was being produced for the ps3 and sony said to the studio that now would be just a ps4 exclusive because the catalog of ps4 sucks and barely you can see any (in 2017 would be something, 4 years later except for uncharted 4), and deal with it.. lot of people bought ps3 just for this becasue 7 years ago a trailer was released telling people this shit would come out to ps3. another sont fag, as every sony fanboy, they liked sony to put not just one finger the hand entirely in the anus.
