Strange times indeed. Darlington is my birth town but I live away from it now. My mother bless is still there on her own poor love

I got away in the early 80's. Even a quick visit back to visit some family is 'tiresome'. The place seems to be locked in a 'time warp'! Awful areas around the town!

Do you live in Darlington? If yes, how is life there? Safe? Crime levels etc? Is there a strong sense of community there?

I disagree Darlington has zero sense of community I live in a fairly nice area and two heroine houses got busted on my street since corona and the night life is dyeing

I mean it totally depends where I know a few nice places and a few very rough places as for a sense of community sorta. I know quite a few people and most of them are quite nice especially near where I live now. And crime wise as far as Im aware there is a fair bit more than where I previously lived but there isn't copious amounts.
