Good work sorting that out for your family friend. Your kindness will come back to you 100 fold. Seeing your parents in some videos leads me to believe they raised you well and taught you good values. The only thing that little Nissan needs now is a cover for the dome light!

Pretty much my Xterra from '04 with a Supercharger. Boy, similar problems: leaky power steering fluid, ABS issues (mine was much more sketch though, brakes would just lock up at any speed) noisy when driving...but it was ridiculously fun to drive! So much torque I barely could go up slight inclines when it was damp on the road. It is, for sure, a sketch machine and almost killed me once so that left my collection fast. Also, mpg, forget it.

As a Toyota guy, 1 small correction. The first gen Tundra that you saw at Oreileys only came with the 4.0L or the 4.7L. The I-Force 5.7 didn’t come until 2008 for the second gen model, where the two available engines were the 5.7L and 4.7L (then the 4.6L replaced the 4.7L in 2010)

Would you believe, that as an LEO, I worked a number of vehicle collisions/crashes that involved that generation of Nissan Frontier where insurance companies totaled the trucks simply because the "plastic" parts of the front clip were broken in those collisions/crashes? The trucks still ran and drove perfectly, but because they had been totaled by the insurance companies, if the owners wanted to keep their trucks, they had to buy them back from the insurers and replace the plastic parts out of pocket. Several of those Nissans, that I know of, are still on the road today and have given their owners excellent service. Two of those trucks are factory original supercharged!

The drive to 30MPH to clear the ABS light after replacing a wheel speed sensor is the same procedure on my 05 Duramax. I had the same “WTH!!!!🤬”reaction after replacing mine. I wonder if it was just a common thing for early to mid 2000s’ trucks/cars?

Replacement glass has just become absolute trash ... girlfriend had the glass on 2020 Camry replaced, literally cracked on the ride back from the dealership. I had the glass replaced on my 2018 Honda Accord ... lasted about 2 weeks before it too cracked, and I too took it to the dealer. Mothers 2021 Sentra replacement glass lasted less than 2 months ... Oddly enough my father had his windshield replaced with some no name glass from a local dude in a van, paid $225 installed ... held up for about 6 straight months At this point I kinda refuse to replace glass, it's an absolute shot in the dark what the quality is regardless of where it's done.
