Everyone's theorizing he is dead and she is chasing the fireflies who came back to kill him for what he did...if you notice the corpse in front of her it looks like joel....the first one in the house looks like sams brother the one in the bathroom looks like tess and the corpse in front of her looks like joel with the boots but the color of the jacket and pants looks slightly different because the light from the window is directly on the corpse...

One thing I feel is that Ellie's dying. She's got a deep-not so well healed scar(s) vertical and slant on the left side of her forehead and face. And way more essential to mention than that-she has a bite, scratch or scar that's not healing. I thought she was bleeding from her eyes but I believe now that's from her head. Either gobs of it from her taller adult yet slain victims or an injury that's probably been trying to heal for the longest but just will not. I definitely believe Joel's dead or at least dying and will be dead sometime during the game. But yeah--I believe Ellie may be infected with a different strand/more mutated form of the infection. Something's may not be immune to. But this is all from watching this trailer that is!

There's already a theory that says that Joel is dead. And only exist in her head (or flashbacks) that's why she's going to unleash total war against the ones that killed Joel (remainig Fireflies?) i don't want to be truth at all. If they kill Joel or Tommy i'll be devastated but they already killed a "mayor" character in the first game (Sarah) so i guess we'll have to wait and see (and cry a lot) ps: no disrespect but, you mom is gorgeous! ps2: i still have a little bit of hope. Byond two souls was not on PS4 🎮 but now it is on PS now, say what you will about PS now i like the service though but wow 😱 that homeless scene in beyond two souls gets me everytime and this from the last of us 2? this is why i love 💘 PS because of games like this, not one game on xbox ever made me feel the way PS games do. xbox games are ok but never make me emotional like PS games do that us a fact!

This game is so special because its predecessor really put us into the dynamic of Joel. You fell in love with Ellie, their duo, and she essentially became 'yours' to the end of time. So when the game ends you can't help but feel like you've lost a loved one or something equivalent. The come back of Part II is riddled with excitement for obvious reasons and is pretty well timed. People craved more from the moment it ended. While I've heard the theory that Joel is already dead (and actually my friend and I concluded the same theory after watching it the first time) I do hope he's around for at least part of the game. Robbing us of that loss would muddle the experience in my opinion (I mean they managed to make us sob over Sara and she lasted 10 minutes). I can't wait for TLOU:P2! Thank you for your kind words! I too hope that they wouldn't show us Joel, just to have him be dead. But I honestly didn't think we would get a TLOU 2, plus Naughty Dog can do no wrong IMO, so I won't complain (much lol). I think we are in for another amazing story!!
