Josh Brolin should have been cast as Joel and back in the day his father would have been good in the part too. Kathleen's righthand man Perry was played by the game's Tommy's voice actor. The head Boston Firefly Marlene is played by the same actress in the game and the show. The voice actors for Joel and Ellie have other parts in the show in later episodes.
