She's a kid yet she's tough for her age yet she's still adorable. She experienced stuff that other people around her didn't experience yet because of her age, she hasn't really gone through much. That's why even after this scene she almost acts like Joel with the "let's go, we're heading west" line

The sound Bella makes to describe Ellie’s current emotion when Henry shoots himself is brilliant acting, I feel like most media portrays watching someone get shot as responding with a simple gasp. The sound Bella uses is very authentic and you can just feel the stress and emotional trauma that this moment would be causing her character. I understand why people aren’t sold, but it’s moments like this that I think she’s a really good actor

The thematic worldbuilding of each episode is unparalleled. They are showing us all the paths Joel and Ellie could go down without just telling us. Joel is being "infected" with love again. It's clouding his judgement and making decisions for him. When he makes rash decisions on behalf of his growing love for Ellie... is it still him inside? Or something else?

It's the added impact of Ellie trying to save Sam, and finding out it didn't work. If you played the game you know it's the second time she's "waited it out" with someone, only to find that they didn't make it while she survived. In the game she gives Sam a toy and doesn't know he's been bitten. In the adaptation, there's a brief hope that maybe her blood could save him. 😢

Henry’s and Sam’s death always get me teared up. I’m 20 years old I have a 5 year old brother. Their relationship just reminds me of ours. He always comes to me when he’s upset and when he wants something like candy or chips he always asks me first because he knows I never say no to him

I'm 25 with two 40 year old half brothers. They were both kinda parenting me when I was young, helping my parents when they weren't around and such. When I was younger I felt sad I couldn't find common ground with them because they were always so much older and had different interests at the time. With that said I always knew they loved me because of how they parented me and always protected me. Having a brother who is significantly older changes the dynamic a bit but in retrospect I wouldn't change anything.

As someone who played the game, I knew what was coming for Sam and Henry. But it was that "I'm sorry" written on Sam's pad that broke me (and completely sold me on the decision they made to have Sam be deaf). It was yet another friend Ellie had to witness die and she internalizes that as her fault, which is so heartbreaking.

It's a small time skip. The Graves aren't filled in the first shot and then Joel is patting down the finished grave when Ellie walks back.

No error at all. At 1:57, Elli is covering Sam's grave on the left, Joel is covering Henry's grave. Elli finishes with Sam's first since his body is smaller (see the dirt pile difference). She goes back to take their stuff and Sam's board while Joel continues filling Henry grave. By 1:58, Joel just finishes filling Henry's grave and Elli is back with the stuff.
