The numerical number of the left is how many "weeks" of the MP you've completed (1 match = 1 day). The symbol to the left denotes how many 12 week sessions you've completed without your survivors dying. There are 10 tiers.

You can see some of those stats in the leaderboards. ND has been pretty open about more modes coming along with the infected appearing in the MP in some capacity. ;]

Choose some of the easier ones, you can make it through a 12 session without having to try some of the more difficult challenges. Try the healing mission, they are super easy.

I just say don't worry about the "clan" system, it's got plenty of problems at the moment and it's better to focus on just playing and having fun.

Agreed, loving it and not even remotely bored despite the "bare bones" amount of content at launch. Expect a co-op and infected to show up in the MP DLC.

Hard to compare TLOU and UC given how different they are. Are we talking SP, MP, or both?

Love the ending, fits perfectly with the character of Joel and sets up future TLOU games well. No worries, twitter isn't a big deal.

You earn them as you hit lifetime supply milestones. You should have all 13 by your second 12 week session.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy this game's multiplayer. I don't think it's for everyone, but it definitely suits the style of the game and I personally have been having a lot of fun playing it. I think this game would have really benefited from a co-op mode like in the Uncharted series.

I just recorded a match from December 2012 some days ago. You just can't record them in offline mode.

This multiplayer has been an amazing surprise, I wonder why ND officially revealed it only a few days from the day one. I wish they learned the lesson: it's very similar to the campaign and it's unique, just like UC2.

If you spend parts on an in-game purchase, such as armor, are those parts not able to be converted into supplies at the end of the match, or does the number of converted supplies you get after a match just depend on how many parts you got during the match altogether?

Just finished the campaign, reason being I needed to finish Farcry 3 & Metal Gear Rising. I think the idea of fighting factions is a pretty fun concept, maybe ND will come out with a version of humans vs runners, etc. I'm kind of nervous getting into the multiplayer, mostly because I'm not that competitive, and I wasn't very good in U3. Is it a must to have a mic to even have a chance of winning?

Melee is fine, once some of our changes get implemented competitive play will improve a lot. Remember that UC3 far worse than this at launch.

Actually only sprinting shows you on the minimap, walking upright doesn't. ;] When you're playing noobs you don't really have to be too careful about your movement, as players understand the game better over time you'll have to play more cautiously match to match.
