For people having issues finding some collectibles you missed cuz a lot seems buggy -Check chapter select to see which part its in - Load that chapter - Once you're in the chapter, press the PS button on controller, there should be a thing that gives you hints on where its at. Example for me i somehow missed the Pittsburgh 'Alone and forsaken" dead body in the car optional conversation, by pressing the PS button it told me ' talk to Ellie about the body in the car' as a hint so i knew it was that one. ALSO if for some reason you're missing out on optional conversations, you need to stay there till they finish talking, That's how i missed 2 of mine from leaving before they were done :[ Hope this helps some people Great video btw!

I think one or two of the four steps are bugged. Some people can't get one of the first two convos on the houses with graffiti to trigger but can still end up with Ellie telling the joke near the firefly sign.

My first play through I got that convo no problem but on the second play through to finish off the plat, I just couldn’t get it to triggered, luckily I got it the first time but that convo and the bleedin ice cream one just wouldn’t trigger.

One optional conversation is super buggy in the Suburbs and it’s preventing me from getting my Platinum Trophy on PS5 😭 It’s part of Ellie’s jokes. Doesn’t appear to be triggering at all and others reporting it as bugged too.

I’ve definitely triggered them, but they’re not counting on the chapter select. At this point I’m having to give up on the platinum and hoping they patch it, but this is unacceptable from ND & Sony imo.

Thank you very much for this guide. I just wanted to add a note of advice from my experience. I am using this guide on my second play through. I’m playing on New Game +, Classic, Moderate difficulty. I am using Game Modifiers to have infinite ammo, crafting material, listen range, and also one shot kills. Using these will still give you points for collectibles and Trophies. Collectibles like the training manuals and upgrade tools carry over into New Game +, and will not be needed to be picked up if you already have them.
