I don't understand why Tommy or Ellie didn't listen to Joel and accept his point of view and things from his perspective. If they did then maybe Joel would still be alive. He is the most caring dude ever. Can't believe how dirty Naughty Dog did him only in the sequel it is like Neil Druckmann is spitting in the fans and the players faces by doing it and then laughing all the way to the bank while doing it and gaining tons of value, fame and gross with his false misrepresentation of a proper story. The franchise is ruined without Joel. Abby is just an imposter and a pretender. I'm kind of glad Joel stood up to Ellie & Tommy in the original game thankfully knowing his future and ultimate demise that was injustice. Troy Baker is such a fantastic voice actor I can't imagine him gone from it. I would be mad too if no one listened to me. I feel like Part II needs to be remade or told better otherwise it's not going to be taken seriously. People can't just be happy that Joel's dead. Humanity took something from him and then he took something from humanity. It is a fair and a reasonable trade if you ask me it wasn't selfish or ruthless. You are telling me that Joel gets golf clubbed and tortured brutally to death literally the most shitty way to go out, while Tommy survives a gunshot to the head like it's no problem? Are you serious? What is this bs writing and storytelling. Ellie berated Joel more times than I can count it was very uncomfortable to watch and unwise. Losing Sarah was already hard enough for him. Joel is my all time favorite character he is so awesome.

That didn't get him killed. He basically died because remember. Everyone has someone that loves them. When Joel is at the hotel in pt. 1 he killed 76 lookouts. 70 fucking 6 people

On the contrary. It was a huge sign of respect, the whole story. Showed us that they're trusting us to handle loss. TLOU Part 2 couldn't be any better. Your "analysis" of this character just shows that you never understood Joel. He knew he did mistakes and that someday he'd pay for those. All he cared for was to not lose another daughter. All he cared for was Ellie. You're talking about how nobody could take Part 2 seriously: Guess what, it's been rewarded Game of the Year and called a masterpiece and is loved by many fans. You're not the only one who hates it, but they all don't for rational reasons, if they're honest. The writing is just consistent with Joel's death, if you can't handle it that's not their fault.
