Thank you for this beautiful video. I was in Ypres at Christmas in 2014 with my son. We went with Mercat tours of Edinburgh who do school trips for kids all over Scotland. They organised for us to see places where the Christmas truce was recorded to have happened. It was very moving and your video has bright it back. Thank you so much. Love to De Niro. X

One of my great uncles fought and survived The Somme and my Granda was in the Royal Ulster Rifles. There is an excellent Somme Museum near Belfast and an Ulster Rifles Museum in the city itself. Both very worth visiting.

Very appropriate for Remembrance Sunday. Those massive World War One cemeteries are always so sad to see. The Commonwealth War Graves people look after them so well.

My grandfather on my mother’s side survived the mustard gas attacks but lost his one kidney. His son died in a tank in WWII. My father was a Spitfire pilot and after university went back into the RCAF in 1952-1966.

Hi guys, you should do a video of how greyhounds were used as messenger dogs during ww1, especially Satan the French greyhound / collie mix - it'll surprise you! Would be interesting for your loyal watchers! Great video, by the way!!!

Just googled this, wow. I had no idea that a greyhound would willingly run that far :))
