I like Joe Biden a lot. He admits mistakes and isn't afraid to adopt a more forward-thinking approach. He seems genuine and compassionate. In addition, he forged on despite so many Americans not respecting nor caring about his accomplishments-especially since those accomplishments are helping those same people.

But at 66 now I'm more inclined to reflect on something Bob Dylan sid. "Listen to the people not listening". We just need to hope we all vote to keep the Republicans out. When I was very young we lived in Spain during the last few years Franco was dictator. There were no freedoms. The Guadia Civil didn't need search warrants. Charges could be false. Most people were poor and lived in an atmosphere of oppression. All these and more during the last years Franco had lightened up on political enemies, real or perceived, that had previously been hunted down and murdered. When we'd come home to the USA, I appreciated our freedoms a helluva lot more. Americans now have a clear choice for what kind of future they want for themselves, their children and grandchildren. Freedom or oppression. 💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲

Say not the struggle naught availeth. The labour and the wounds are vain The enemy faints not nor faileth And as things have been; they remain. If hopes were dupes fears may be liars It may be in the fog and smoke concealed Your fritends chase even now the fliers And, but for you, posess the field. For while the tired waves, vainly breaking Seem here no painful inch to gain, Far back through creeks and inlets making, Comes silent, flooding in, the main. And not by eastern windows only, When daylight comes, comes in the light, In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly, But westward, look, the land is bright. Arthur Hugh Clough

the fact, that america still has a two party democracy and the unbelievable thing of someones vote having more power than someone elses, just because they live in different regions is frankly insane. no one living in a democracy would call that a democracy, when the count of a vote is regulated by the party governing the state.

America reminds me of the housewife who has an absolute meltdown when the muddy dog, gets in the House, chews up the furniture, pees on the petunias....and, ALL because she left the back door open. The entry of "dark money" from private interest groups, predatory foreign and domestic groups; imposition of the destruction of Civil Liberties thats taken hundreds of years to implement; the Selling of vital, American documents to any interested party.. as long as they have $$$.. All This, and so much more. 😢

Is the Presidential pardon power a "core" presidential function, with absolute immunity? It's granted under the Constitution. If so, can a president pardon himself or herself for federal crimes? There's nothing in the Constitution to say otherwise. If so, then presumably the absolute immunity granted to presidents for presidential actions by the Supreme Court can be also extended to a president's personal acts where they violate federal law (the presidential pardon power does not reach to state crimes). The Supreme Court has opened the door to this possibility; not only would a president have absolute immunity for presidential actions, but also freedom from consequences for many personal actions. On taking office, a president could give himself or herself a blanket pardon presumptively; no need to be tried and then self pardoned, they'd simply be untouchable except for state crimes.

I was watching when the young people were hammering the wall I remember when they saw the pieces of the wall or they took it as a souvenir I cried as I Collett happy cry, and I was not even 1% involved in politics, just thinking of a comfort and freedom of people. I have no idea what the Republican stands for a such except capital punishment was the main thing which I was disagree with. I like the Democrats but I didn’t like that much freedom of protesting altogether. it was good old days, I am fortunate that experienced all those things now at this age every hour of the day I have to listen or watch the headline to see what will happen if Trump come back to White House because I know evil I know wrong from right I know corruption, I know lies from the truth Him and the people that are surrounding him now or his type of people I could never believe that they can be Americans never they’ve been brainwashed by the lies and deceive is sad and pity. I don’t care who goes in the White House Democrat or Republican as long as the decent corruption is coming so deep in USA that Elon musk young men, but who has no clue just spying the world and people with money this was not America that I remember 1962 when I came in here
