David should be a regular on this show. His dry sense of humor is so perfect with Stephen's quirky style of humor.

These may very well be my favorite skits on Colbert's show. Will Arnett's (esp. the Twinkies, and the bit about alcohol for grown ups) was classic. I so want Chris Pratt to do this skit when his next film(s) come(s) out...I can totally picture "Steve and Chris" talking about sports, wrestling, Dinosaurs, spaceships, video games (Atari and Nintendo, PLEASE), Westerns, and '80s music. It practically writes itself.

Dragon Curve Enthusiast then make an all girls one :D haven't you seen Little Rascals? also we can have pillow wars. guys vs girls. It'll give our forts a purpose!
@dragoncurveenthusiast8 жыл бұрын
I will! I haven't seen little rascals, but I have seen Community! If you like blanket forts it's well worth watching the first 3 seasons just for those epic 2 (or 3?) episodes! #sixseasonsandamovie However, my guess is that once we have our all-girls blanket (or pillow) fort practicing for pillow fights you'll have a lot of deserters ;-)
@Avesfox8 жыл бұрын
Dragon Curve Enthusiast the whole Little Rascals thing is that the boys have their own little clubhouse and the girls have theirs, not really a blanket fort thing but it does have that girls vs boys aspect of it :) I may actually give Community a look. :)
@dragoncurveenthusiast8 жыл бұрын
:-D Do that. The show is awesome (except for the 4th season) I just wrote a whole paragraph nerding out over that show, but I deleted it again. go watch it and judge for yourself. and think back to this conversation when you get to the blanket fort episodes ;-)

This is a ripoff of that sketch from Jimmy Fallon's show where he and Justin Timberlake were kids at camp.
@Wunderkind048 жыл бұрын
Yeah, camping and a sleepover are the exact same thing, right? By your logic, Jimmy Fallon's entire show is a ripoff of a show where a guy sits behind a desk and makes funny jokes and interviews people. Go home captain autismo. You're the reason why the gene pool has a lifeguard.
@storytellerofwilds1338 жыл бұрын
+Noraver Just because he said something stupid that you didn't like, does not make him autistic. In fact, brilliant people like Albert Einstein were autistic. You yourself should go home and read up on what autism really is before assuming people who you don't like that you've never even met have it
@GreenPlymProduction8 жыл бұрын
Everybody understood that autism was here used as an insult and not a serious remark... (even if the insult is f*cking horrible). Where did you see that Einstein is autistic ? Where I'm from it's a rumour but nobody knows since he never did any test.
@mikerotch1458 жыл бұрын
+Noraver What I mean by it's a ripoff is the sketch, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake did a sketch where they're two "kids" at a summer camp and I noticed that both Jimmy's and Stephen's sketches begin with someone saying "Are you awake" and both talk about pubic hair.
@jcabsolor8 жыл бұрын
sadly Stephens just not as funny as on the colbert report nearly all the other late night host are better
@latininxtc8 жыл бұрын
Have to agree and it gets more ridiculous as the show progresses. I love the political jokes and segments because that is where he excels at, but the rest of it like this segment can just go away. And he's got probably the worst sidekick ever. Jon Baptiste is absolutely awful and sounds dumb. He really adds nothing to the show. But also Colbert just does so much better all by himself. BUT it's still better than Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel. Those two cunts are still awful.
@vashtiramsaroop54106 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed this skit, but it's because of David much more then because of Stephen. The more Stephen's show is on, the more I miss Letterman!! Frankly, Kimmel has become the new Letterman, not Stephen. For the longest time, I think Stephen and his writing team couldn't figure out if they were going to continue the news show character from Comedy Central, or be himself. I still think they go back and forth, and haven't really made a clear decision.
