Israel doesn't have to fight on two fronts. Maybe Hamas is not all defeated yet, but they are at a very fragile point and Israel now doesn't need to put in much effort to keep Hamas in check for the moment and can easily afford to transfer the overwhelming majority of their forces to the north, which is what they are doing. I know many will disagree, but this multifront war is something that will be written books about later when this is all over. The Israeli army, like it or not, has simply outdone itself this time.
