Those side boards would be primarily to reduce damage from dropping loads on the edge, or dragging buckets, etc, across the sides of the trailer. A couple of other points that were missed - the sockets along the side for barge boards, and the tie-down rails that went right around the body. I also liked that the axles were sensibly placed, to reduce the tongue weight on the tow vehicle - many trailers have them set a bit too far back. About the only quibble, off hand, is that it would hav been nice to see the rear gates swing round a bit further, so with extra long loads the vehicle could still be comfortably driven on the road with the gates open.

Chain or rope the doors still even though they have the latch. Have seen a couple tree guys have braches release those latches while dumping and the doors get destroyed.

The Diaqmond C dump trailers look awesome. I do wish Diamond C made a utility trailer. I got a PJ last year and it is ok but not great. I still feel PJ is one of if not the best at specifically utility trailers but Diamond C just seems to be in a league of its own and could make one that is even better. On my PJ the paint doesn't last (I even got the primer hoping the paint would last longer), the fit and finish is not great, and it just seems to shake and rattle in general.

Telescopic lifts are slower than scissor dumps, but as he said, they will always dump. Unlike a scissor lift, it won't dump if there's too much load on the front.

We went to mostly a short format. The algorithm is weird these days. We get 100X views on Instagram, FB and Tiktok than we do here. We will try to build it back up. It is just so much easier and so much more reward on other social platforms than here. Working on hiring someone to help our YT grow. This video should do well, it just takes time to gain the views.

3 tier dump truck style cylinder, rear door locks with no chains, oversized front storage box, engineered beam, automotive style badging and wiring. fast deploy and retract tarp system. I don't know any other brand of trailers that have this. Perhaps you do.
