Looking optimistically at the Tiger's chances of landing Sazaki!! 🤩 Because of our development team. Meaning FETTER.

Wait, did he say that Colt Keith only receives a $3M incentive bonus if he were to win a league MVP !? Man, winning an MVP on his current contract, should be worth upwards of a $25M bonus!

Of course i wanted Goldshmidt, but i think Torrez works well, too, for the year. Like you guys, I'm concerned with less than adequate infield defense. Of course we still have McKinsey. Bregman would be a great answer. I also worry about the glut of good minor league players. We have Lee, McGonigle, Briceno, etc. Will Colt Keith return to 2nd when Briceno arrives? What will happen with Malloy? I think the Pirates missed a big chance to take Tork. According to Locked On Pirates, they picked up a different guy for 1st base. Didn't sound like those guys were elated with the choice. We probably could have landed strikeout pitching depth. Hmm... Who needs young 1st base talent they see upside with and development potential? Looking forward to Javy, if he is fixed after his surgury, to have an upsurge in production. He needs that to increase his value to go to a different team 2026. Thx guys

I'm super exited! These kids have tasted wining and the postseason. Not easy! Harris is dealing. I would love it if Baerga was right about Bregman. Let's Go Tigers!!

Torres...I hope you have a good supply of 'Hustle Pills' on hand...and are willing to overlook his 'play' in the field...

Just a thought has Baez ever played 3rd. Arm accuracy might be a problem though

Bregman got the correct market value contract offer from Astros, anything above 160M is over paying, and has a lot of risk. I like Torrez to one year contract, he needs a big year to get his goal, almost no risk for Tigers. I keep thinking Colt will get back to 3B, but needs time to get his shoulder back in shape.

Hoping Harris keeps his word by still giving Tork the preseason to show hes turned the corner. I'm convinced Tork will hit 45 home runs a yr for Boston (who im hearing wants him) if we give up on him. If we are going to be a cheap tiny market team then we need to be a beyond PO patient with our 1/1 draft picks... just my .02

Really wonder if Harris can get Bregman to take less money and/or a shorter duration contract. Hope Torres can get the stiff Baez to up his game at SS. Colt to 1B is okay if he flatlines at the dish Tork can be called up from Toledo.

Sign Flaherty back if he wants to rejoin the Tigers. Give Baez one last chance, since he's costing this team 25 million this season, but if he dogs it like he has been doing, send him packing, if for nothing more than the fans' benefit! This is a young, hungry team, which is far more entertaining to watch than some late-career Cabrera rerun. Forget Bregman. He's not signing with the Tigs anyway. Get another cheaper option if need be. You'll be fine. Fire those young players up and watch them tear the division apart! Truth.

By the way let’s hope that if they make the post season in 25, Riley shows up. He didn’t this past October.

Bregman is a one or two yr player- his hitting is going down the tubes, hes a non momentum swing which will not have longevity, he was likely late on the fastball last season and had to guess alot walking less than 5% of atbats- not what Tigers want or anybody. Reflexes and batspeed diminish typically in late 20s so then mechanics become paramount at that point. For example, Judge,Ohtani and Greene all have momentum swings, Bregaman does not- swings from a hands still position- wont work much longer if at all. Its not about stats-Mechanics usually dictate stats but the low walk rate shows a demise.

Gleber Torres addition makes little sense. Torres defensive metric is poor. Yankees who seem to know talent didn’t value him. Tigers already had a 2nd base in Colt Keith. This doesn’t solve the real issue: THE HOLE AT SS. That’s a real issue. Javy Baez sucks.

A key change to suit a loser like Torres is unbelievable, Harris continues to be horse-hockey.

Tigers are trash, no point in this

yea and Scott Harris is the dude that takes out the trash.......he is an idiot and was dealt a pat hand with all the Al Alvia prospects
@Springbok31426 күн бұрын
I think “trash” is a tad harsh but it’s been clear since Little Ilitch I inherited the team that it would be a moneyball approach. His hockey team is a dumpster fire and the Tigers got lucky last year. The only drafted player to really excel has been Skubal (and he was a 9th round pick!). The others such as Mize and Tork are busts. We will see about the other minor leaguers still to come but any that become huge money stars will wind up in LA or NY eventually.
